  • Patent number: 9244219
Abstract: The fiber comprises a core (2) having an index N and diameter of 10 ?m or more, surrounded by a ring (4) having an index N+?n and thickness ?R, and cladding (6) surrounding the ring and comprising for example air gaps (8). According to the invention: ?n?10?3 and ?R=?/(?n)? [1] where: 5×10?4 ?m???5×10?2 ?m and 0.5???1.5. The numbers ? and ? are dependent on the wavelength ? of the light guided by the fiber, the number of missing gaps therein, the diameter d of the gaps, the spacing ? thereof and N. To design the fiber, ?, the number of missing gaps, d/?, the core doping content, ? and ?n are chosen; and ?R is determined using equation [1] so as to obtain a flattened fundamental mode.

  • Patent number: 9246813
Abstract: According to one embodiment of the present invention, a multi-hop network system includes: a transmission node; a reception node; a router node; and a flow control node connected to all nodes within the multi-hop network system. The flow control node periodically receives flow monitoring information from at least one transmission node and evaluates whether the distributed state of the bandwidth of a network is fair. At this time, the flow control node sets a queue length threshold as transmission rate control information for fairly distributing the bandwidth of the network and transmits the set queue length threshold to at least one transmission node when unfairness has been detected. The transmission node sets the queue length threshold as a reference point for adjusting the transmission rate and performs the packet and/or link scheduling.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a cyprinid herpesvirus II-sensitive brain tissue cell line of Carassius auratus gibelio and establishing method and use thereof. The cell line is deposited in China Center for Type Culture Collection under an accession number of CCTCC No: C2013179. The brain tissue cell line of Carassius auratus gibelio is in good growth state and sensitive to CyHV-2 that is presently hardly cultured with ordinary fish cell lines. After six passages of CyHV-2 in GiCB cells, viral nucleic acid can still be detected and a cytopathic effect is stable. When ultrathin microscopic sections are prepared from cells having the cytopathic effect, considerable mature CyHV-2 virions and their replication process can be observed in GiCB cells. The construction method of the brain tissue cell line of Carassius auratus gibelio of the present invention has high repeatability, scientific and reasonable conditions.

  • Patent number: 9238586
Abstract: A method cleans a plurality of filters in parallel, each filter having an inlet side and an outlet side separated by a filter barrier. In an operational phase, water is filtered using a plurality of the filters, by passing the water through the filter. In a cleaning phase, at least one of the filters is cleaned while the other filters are filtering water in the operational phase. Each filter is cleaned by supplying sodium hypochlorite to an inlet side of the filter when the filter is off-line. The inlet side of the filter is allowed to soak in the sodium hypochlorite for at least 30 seconds without the sodium hypochlorite being pressurized through the filter barrier during the soaking process. The filters are cycled through the cleaning phase such that each filter is repeatedly cleaned while other filters are filtering in the operational phase.
