  • Patent number: 10841539
Abstract: The present invention comprises an apparatus and method for monitoring a zone, which is a contiguous or non-contiguous, two-dimensional (2D) area or three-dimensional (3D) volume. Among its several advantages, the apparatus includes a plurality of sensors that monitor portions of the zone and report intrusion status to a control unit that provides monitoring boundary information to each of the sensors based on user input and further “maps” or otherwise associates each sensor to control unit outputs in accordance with user-defined behaviors. Still further, as a meaningful aid for configuring monitoring boundaries used by the sensors for objection intrusion detection, in one or more embodiments of the apparatus and method, at least a subset of sensors use a common coordinate frame of reference, based on a common origin located within overlapping sensor fields of view.

  • Publication number: 20190065686
Abstract: Systems, methods, and articles of manufacture for monitoring and assessing health record data quality are disclosed. The system monitors and assesses health record data quality in an on-boarding environment and/or a production environment. The system ingests health record data transmitted by various health record data sources. The system monitors the ingestion of health record data to detect data quality errors occurring during the ingestion. Based on the data quality errors, and in response to detecting one or more data quality errors, the system generates a data quality score that can be used to determine the overall quality of data being ingested into the system.

  • Patent number: 10084501
Abstract: Systems and methods of providing a mobile device cover are described. In some embodiments, the mobile device cover may include, for example, an acoustic sensor, a processor, and lighting devices. The processor can be operatively coupled to the acoustic sensor and the lighting devices. The acoustic sensor can be configured to receive sound generated by the mobile phone and to convert the sound into an acoustic signal. The processor can be configured to receive the acoustic signal and to determine whether the acoustic signal is similar to one of a plurality of acoustic signals previously stored on the mobile phone cover. Each of the previously stored acoustic signals can be indicative of, for example, a particular caller, a particular message sender, or a particular alert. Based on the acoustic signal determination, the processor is configured to cause lighting of the one or more lighting devices corresponding to the indicated caller, indicated message sender, or indicated alert.
