Abstract: An electric juicer having a housing, or case, a juice receptacle arranged on the case, a pouring accessory disposed on the receptacle and a juicer cone. The case contains a motor for rotating the cone through the intermediary of a transmission, the pouring accessory has a bottom permitting gravity flow of the collected juice toward a lateral flow outlet, and the bottom has an opening providing for the passage of the transmission. In accordance with the invention, the pouring accessory has a transmission axis, or shaft, belonging to the transmission, the shaft being mounted for free rotation in the opening. This arrangement permits the juicer to be used with or without the pouring accessory.
Abstract: The invention relates to a cooking appliance comprising a case (1) and a vessel (2). Said vessel is intended to receive a cooking bath and is equipped with a draining device (10) which is used to drain the contents of the vessel (2) into a draining container (3), said container being removably-disposed in relation to the case (1). According to the invention, the draining device (10) comprises a thermostatic valve (16) consisting of a heat-sensitive mechanical element which moves according to the temperature.

Abstract: A device for separating and collecting waste entrained by an air flow generated by a suction group in a vacuum cleaner, the device having an air inlet tube opening in a tangential direction into a waste separation chamber, a conduit having a plurality of openings being located in a central part of said chamber, the conduit being in communication with the suction group, and the chamber being connected to a tank for collecting waste. According to the invention, the conduit has inclined walls directed toward the separation chamber, in the direction of circular movement of the air flow in the separation chamber, and the end of each wall has a substantially flat opening that is parallel to the underlying and adjacent conduit. The openings in the conduit are situated in line with the openings in the walls.
Abstract: A toaster having: a frame enclosing an open heating chamber; a bread supporting carriage mounted in the chamber and vertically movable relative to the frame, the carriage being retainable in a lowered position for toasting; an extension piece fixed to the carriage; a restoring element coupled between the frame and the extension piece for urging the carriage upwardly away from the lowered position to a first bread discharge position; and a control mechanism for controlling the position for the carriage. The control mechanism includes: a lever mounted for rotation about a first axis, a crank element extending perpendicular to the first axis and connected to the lever for rotation as a unit therewith, and a cam device connected to the extension piece and engaged by the crank element at a location spaced from the first axis for converting rotational movements of the actuating lever into vertical movements of the carriage.
