Abstract: The object of the invention is a process for P-type boron doping of silicon wafers placed on a support in the chamber of a furnace of which one end comprises a wall in which means for introducing reactive gases and a gas carrying a boron precursor in gaseous form are located, whereby said process comprises the stages that consist in: a) In the chamber, reacting the reactive gases with boron trichloride BCl3 that is diluted in the carrier gas at a pressure of between 1 kPa and 30 kPa, and a temperature of between 800° C. and 1100° C., for forming a boron oxide B2O3 glass layer, b) Carrying out the diffusion of atomic boron in silicon under an N2+O2 atmosphere at a pressure of between 1 kPa and 30 kPa. A furnace designed for the implementation of said doping process as well as its applications—the manufacturing of large boron-doped silicon slices, in particular for photovoltaic applications—is also claimed.
Abstract: Chilled-beam zone pump modules for controlling zones of a chilled-beam heating and air conditioning system, multiple-zone chilled beam air conditioning systems for cooling multiple-zone spaces, and methods of controlling chilled beams in multi-zone air conditioning systems. Embodiments include a pump serving each zone that both recirculates water within the module and chilled beam and circulates water in and out of a chilled or warm water distribution system through valves to control temperature. Different embodiments provide heating as well as cooling, use check valves to reduce the number of control valves required, adjust the temperature of the beam to avoid condensation, change pump speed to save energy or increase capacity, can be used in two- or four-pipe systems, allow for lower installation cost, provide better performance or control, improve reliability, overcome barriers to the use of chilled beams, or a combination thereof.
Abstract: An image card has an image formed on a card base by engraving striped grooves having different angles according to the degree of shading of the image by the engraving.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a spray head for effective fire fighting. The spray head according to the present invention provides a uniform distribution of a fluid, such as pressurised water, over a relatively large area. To achieve this, the spray head comprises a body defining a central axis and further comprising a fixation structure for fixing the spray head to a fluid supply system, a fluid inlet, directing fluid in a first direction, a plurality of outlet holes arranged around the central axis, and a flow path between the inlet and the holes, wherein a first set of holes are located in such a way, that the fluid is leaving the first set of holes in a second direction opposite to the first direction and wherein the body further comprises an arrangement for holding a fire actuation member.
Abstract: An image card has an image formed on a card base by engraving striped grooves having different angles according to the degree of shading of the image by the engraving.
Abstract: In an image card where an image is formed on a thin plate made of special synthetic paper or plastic by engraving by sweeping the plate with the engraving needle through relative movement of an engraving needle and a plate, it is impossible to form a hidden image which can be viewed when a viewpoint is changed or form an image formed by watermark engraving and the hidden image within the same plane. A hidden image is formed on an image card by engraving while angles of stripes of striped patterns are changed in response to shading of an image. Further, an image engraving device is provided with a rotary driving unit, and engraving is performed in a state that an extending direction of striped grooves of the hidden image and a forming direction of the engraving are made equal, so that a wall face of a groove is always formed by the same side face of an engraving needle and undulation does not occur on the wall face of the groove. Similarly, a shape of a bottom face of the groove is made even.
Abstract: Provided are a piping cleaning nozzle which effectively prevents back flow of a cleaning agent poured into piping in a building to clean the inner wall of the piping and to exterminate noxious organisms, and a piping cleaning method using the piping cleaning nozzle. An expanding and contracting body (4) is mounted to the front end side of a pipe (3) constituting a nozzle inserted into piping. The expanding and contracting body (4) is adapted to cover nozzle holes (8) for discharging a cleaning agent and consists of a material such a rubber expanded by the cleaning agent discharged to the inside of the expanding and contracting body (4). In cleaning operation, the pressure of the cleaning agent discharged from the nozzle holes (8) expands the expanding and contracting body (4) to close the piping. As a result, the expanding and contracting body (4) functions as a lid for blocking the cleaning agent which comes out of a discharge opening (6) and tried to flow back.
