Abstract: A support head mountable on a support post for supporting a beam in a formwork system is provided. The support head includes a top member configured for contacting and supporting the beam. The top member includes a first tube having first opposing pin holes and a pair of guide plates. The support head includes a base member mountable on top of the support post. The base member includes a second tube having second opposing pin holes. The first and second opposing pin holes are configured to align along a horizontal axis. The support head includes a pin insertable into the pin holes. The pin includes a guide portion. The pair of guide plates is configured to receive the guide portion to orient the pin and prevent rotation of the pin. The pin is slidably moveable in the pin holes from a first position to a second position.

Abstract: A system and methods for applications to use a plurality of messaging services with a mainframe system is provided. The system and methods can involve receiving requests via a client application interface (API) coupled to the mainframe system to consume or publish data by the applications and determining by the client application API a messaging service to be used. The system and methods can also involve converting the received requests into a process based on the messaging service to be used and a configuration that is based on the client application API's determination of which messaging service is to be used, and transmitting via a server application interface (API) coupled to the mainframe system the converted received requests to endpoints as defined by the requests.

Abstract: A method for manufacturing a brake pad which has a backing plate and a friction lining, has at least the following steps: (a) preparing a backing plate for attaching a friction lining, with or without an intermediate layer between the backing plate and the friction lining, on the backing plate; (b) roughening at least part of the surface area of the backing plate using a pulsed high-pressure water jet; and (c) attaching the friction lining onto the roughened surface of the backing plate.

Abstract: A system and method for authenticating a user device with a CAPTCHA (completely automated public Turing test to tell computers and humans apart). A content server may receive a request from a user device to access content or a service by the content server. In response the request, the content server may require authentication of the user device through an authentication server. The user device may be granted access to the content or service upon a successfully authentication of a CAPTCHA response.

Abstract: The invention is related to a dengue virus or chimeric dengue virus that contains a mutation in the 3? untranslated region (3?-UTR) comprising a ?30 mutation that removes the TL-2 homologous structure in each of the dengue virus serotypes 1, 2, 3, and 4, and nucleotides additional to the ?30 mutation deleted from the 3?-UTR that removes sequence in the 5? direction as far as the 5? boundary of the TL-3 homologous structure in each of the dengue serotypes 1, 2, 3, and 4, or a replacement of the 3?-UTR of a dengue virus of a first serotype with the 3?-UTR of a dengue virus of a second serotype, optionally containing the ?30 mutation and nucleotides additional to the ?30 mutation deleted from the 3?-UTR; and immunogenic compositions, methods of inducing an immune response, and methods of producing a dengue virus or chimeric dengue virus.

Abstract: Systems and methods for improving access to and control of secure content. To prevent undesired data sharing/access (e.g., prohibited downloads, 4th, 5th-party sharing), access rules can be assigned to documents upon creation. These access rules specify the operations that can be performed to a document, who can perform those operations, and when those documents can be accessed to perform the operations. For each document, a separate container instance may be generated which can store the document comprising the private data. Each authorized user may be provided with their own container instance. Unique cryptographic keys may be generated for each container instance to allow those authorized users to securely connect to their respective container instances. This additional layer of protection (i.e., access rules linked to documents and unique keys for each document/client) allows for granular monitoring of the private data to prevent prohibited access attempts.

Abstract: Systems and methods recite a system that expands the available amount of data that may be used for training and/or detecting cyber fraud. In particular, as opposed to limiting training data (and/or successful matches) to patterns of text strings in electronic communications of user records, the systems and methods additionally generate training data (and/or successful matches) on the characteristics of the text strings themselves (e.g., the specific characters used, the length, the uniqueness of the text string, etc.). Moreover, the systems and methods may determine particular rules that an identified text string and/or characteristics thereof violates. The system may then use instances of the identified text string, characteristics thereof, and/or violated rule to supplement existing training data. Thus, the systems and methods mitigate the technical problem related to the limited training data.

Abstract: A method to improve performance of a pulsed power drilling tool includes determining energy transferred to a bit of a pulsed power drilling tool. In response to a determination that the energy transferred to the bit is not greater than an energy threshold within a threshold period of time, the method also includes monitoring voltage of a primary capacitor of the pulsed power drilling tool during a subsequent resonance cycle. In response to a determination that the voltage of the primary capacitor is above a voltage threshold, the method further includes toggling a primary switch that is electrically connected to the primary capacitor to maintain energy captured by the primary capacitor, charging the primary capacitor from a stored voltage to an operating voltage during a subsequent cycle.

For example, the system may include one or more memory units storing instructions and one or more processors configured to execute the instructions to perform operations. The operations may include receiving a modeling request comprising a preliminary model and a dataset. The operations may include determining a preliminary brittleness score of the preliminary model. The operations may include identifying a reference model and determining a reference brittleness score of the reference model. The operations may include comparing the preliminary brittleness score to the reference brittleness score and generating a preferred model based on the comparison. The operations may include providing the preferred model.

Abstract: Concurrency race conditions in a distributed database system may arise and manifest with cross-node write conflicts, in which different database nodes independently process requests for the same record stored in a database and assign the requests with a same sequence number for the same record. An example embodiment includes a distributed database system having database nodes configured to transmit, stream, and/or publish logs of respectively processed requests. A detection system or subsystem within the distributed database system monitors the logs for cross-node write conflicts. The detection system may lock the database record from further modification/manipulation, alert and requisition users to manually resolve the conflict, automatically resolve the conflict via a replaying of the conflicted requests, and predict whether the conflict was intentional, malicious, or part of a cyberattack on the distributed database system.

Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, obtaining a first E-UTRAN cell global identifier (ECGI) associated with an aerial base station (ABS), determining a location of the ABS, and determining that a terrestrial base station (TBS) is within a distance threshold of the location of the ABS. Further embodiments include providing the first ECGI of the ABS to the TBS, and providing instructions to the TBS to indicate to each terrestrial communication devices (TCDs) communicatively coupled to the TBS to add a cell individual offset (CIO) factor to a first signal strength associated with a first signal received from the ABS. The TBS provides instructions to each of the TCDs to add a CIO factor to the first signal strength associated with the first signal received from the ABS. The second instructions includes the first ECGI associated with the ABS. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Abstract: The disclosure relates generally to methods and systems for ground water prediction using integration of satellite and auxiliary observations. Conventional techniques in the art for the ground water level prediction are not accurate and efficient for predicting the ground water level. The present disclosure combines time-series archived remote sensing data with a wide array of past auxiliary datasets specific to a given region for precise prediction of future ground water condition, to predict the ground water situation i.e. rising or declining for a given region. These encompass diverse information such as weather conditions, soil properties, agricultural data, population statistics, water resources information, industrial details, drought records, seismic data, and surface deformation patterns.

Abstract: A decorative removable lighting enclosed clip made for mounting a light to a support surface such as gutters, shingles or a building structure. The enclosed clip allows for an aesthetically pleasing display of lights with rapid and easy installation and removal of the lighting. This eliminates falling debris from broken clips or clips that fall off the lights during the removal process. A support tab is inserted between the side portions of the structure, at longitudinally spaced intervals along the strip, and are frictionally gripped and retained by the facing side portions of the gutter, shingle or structure. The clips have enclosed end portions which support the light elements of a decorative light string along structure. Abstract: Methods and systems are described herein for manipulating a communication acceptance screen, manipulating an interactive communication acceptance icon, and restricting access to accounts based on voice communication parameters. In particular, when a communication is detected from one device to another device, that communication may be risky. Thus, the risk is mitigated by giving a user information about the source of the communication to give a user a chance to reject the communication. In addition, in instances where the user accepts the communication, the system enables monitoring the communication and restricting any accounts that are disclosed within the communication.

Abstract: A server compute device may include circuitry configured to receive a caregiver call request based on a short message service (SMS) message sent from a mobile communication device of a patient. The circuitry of the server compute device may additionally be configured to determine as a function of a mobile communication device identifier of the mobile communication device that sent the caregiver call request, a caregiver to notify. Further, the circuitry may be configured to send, to the determined caregiver, a notification of the caregiver call request.

Abstract: A method of forming a heater assembly of an e-vaping device includes bending a wire to form a first lobe and bending the wire to form a second lobe. The first lobe and the second lobe form a generally sinuously-shaped heater having a first set of lobes and a second set of lobe. A first apex of the first lobe is generally opposite a second apex of the second lobe. The method may also include curling the first set of lobes towards the second set of lobes to form a heater having a substantially tubular form. The heater defines an opening there through.
