  • Patent number: 10956479
Abstract: A system creates an abstraction layer surrounding a diverse data system including multiple different databases. Data is received from data sources and ingested into the various databases according to a core model. New instances of the core model are created and added to a larger linked data model (LDM) when new data sources are added to the system. The LDM captures the linkages between different linked data objects and links across different databases. Accordingly, applications are able to access or explore the linked data stored in different databases without prior knowledge of the linking relationships.

  • Patent number: 10955576
Abstract: High fidelity velocity models are generated for acoustic vertically transverse isotropic media by taking advantage of full-waveform based modeling using VSP data. The present disclosure determines VTI parameters in acoustic media using pseudo-acoustic equations which can eliminate the contribution from shear waves, and thus significantly reduce the time needed to perform inversion. The methods disclosed herein provide workflows for performing full waveform inversion to provide velocity models used to generate seismic images with high quality and resolution.

  • Patent number: 10958540
Abstract: Techniques are described for routing service requests, in a service environment, based on a category of a previously terminated service session. A category is determined for a first service session involving an individual, the category being a topic, question, and/or problem discussed during the first service session. An activity record may be stored that identifies the individual and the category of the first service session. If the first service session is terminated, a reconnection dialog can be presented to request a reconnection. A second service request may be sent based on the selection through the reconnection dialog. Responsive to receiving the second service request, the activity record may be accessed and used to determine the category of the previous service session. The service request can then be automatically routed to a service representative suited to handle requests in that particular category.

  • Patent number: 10954748
Abstract: A sleeve on a downhole work string or a completion string may be actuated without movement of the work string, by positioning the work string within the completion string such that a sleeve positioned in a recess on a surface the work string or the completion string, in combination with surfaces of the work string and the completion string define a chamber on a side of the sleeve. A fluid may be pumped from a fluid source through a fluid passageway in the work string to the chamber for forcing the sleeve to actuate from an open position to a closed position or vice versa. In some aspects, multiple sleeves may be actuated concurrently via additional fluid passageways that are in fluid communication with one another. In some aspects, multiple sleeves may be actuated independently via additional fluid passageways that are fluidly isolated from one another.
