    Abstract: Example embodiments provide systems and methods for validating an action using a physical token, such as a near-field-communications (NFC)-capable chip. A server may receive a request to perform the action, and may require validation from the holder of the physical token. The holder of the physical token may log into an application using their login credentials, providing a first tier of authentication. The holder may then scan the physical token with a reader on their mobile device, which provides a second tier of authentication. The scan may reveal a value for a counter on the physical token, which may be compared to a counter at the server in order to validate that the physical token has been used as expected. If the server deems it appropriate, a third (or further) tier may be required, such as scanning a photographic identification of the holder.

The pipelines can operate efficiently on the block and operations can occur partly in parallel.

Firstly, remotely sensed data is pre-processed and classified into a plurality of land use land cover classes (LULC). Then socio-economic driver variables data for a pre-defined interval of time are provided from a database. A Hidden Markov Model (HMM) is defined with LULC as hidden states and socio-economic driver variables data as observations and trained for generating a MINI state transition probability matrix. Again the defined MINI is trained by taking input data from scenario based temporal variables to generate another set of HMM state transition probability matrix. The generated MINI state transition probability matrix is then integrated with a spatio-temporal model to obtain an integrated model for predicting LULC changes to generate at least one prediction image.

A bandwidth monitor (20) is provided for monitoring the performance of the channel based on the behaviour of transmitted data packets, including their round-trip travel time to and from the server (4). The compressor (16) can modify the adjustable compression factor based on the performance of the channel, as determined by the bandwidth monitor, and the amount of non-video data received by the packet constructor. This can permit transmission of non-video data without disrupting the live video feed or introducing any delay.

    Abstract: While performing heart rate estimation of a user, if the user is in motion, measured signal is prone to have noise data, which in turn affects accuracy of estimated heart rate value. Disclosed herein is a method and system for heart rate estimation when the user is in motion. The system estimates value of a noise signal present in a measured PPG signal by performing a Principle Component Analysis (PCA) of an accelerometer signal collected along with the PPG signal. The system further estimates value of a true cardiac signal for a time window, based on value of the true cardiac signal in a pre-defined number of previous time windows. The system then estimates frequency spectrum of a clean PPG signal based on the estimated noise signal and the true cardiac signal. The system further performs heart rate estimation based on the clean PPG signal.
