Abstract: Security rule feedback systems and methods include capturing network traffic data, the network traffic data including a plurality of traffic records. The traffic records are grouped into first and second traffic records having corresponding first and second source address identifiers, first and second source port identifiers, first and second destination address identifiers, and first and second destination port identifiers. Network interfaces associated with the first and second records are identified based on source address identifiers. Security rule populations are associated to the network interfaces. A determination is made as to a direction of network traffic based on the security rule populations. Thereby, dispensable security rules may be identified.

Abstract: Various embodiments disclosed relate to cement activator compositions for treatment of subterranean formations. In various embodiments, the present invention provides a method of treating a subterranean formation including placing in the subterranean formation a liquid cement activator composition including water, an alkali sulfate salt, a polyphosphate salt, and a stabilizer polymer.

Abstract: A system and method for measuring a customer experience across a plurality of business channels in an organization has been provided. The system is configured to provide insight into customer experience across business channels from data generated via social media. The social media data of the customer pertaining to the organization is acquired and cleansed to obtain the unstructured data. Using linguistic and behavioral analysis of unstructured social data, the system enables an organization to understand customer experience by a plurality of channel to market, including the relationship of the channels on customer experience. Finally, it was concluded that whether the customer expectations are matched, missed or exceeded with the organization.

Abstract: A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium is provided to store computer-readable program code to receive an unmerged record set, comprising a first plurality of data records, to generate record-pairs from the first plurality of data records, based upon a set of transitive deterministic matching criteria, apply a set of non-transitive matching rules to the record-pairs, perform a partitioning operation on the record-pairs, using a plurality of independent grouping operations, wherein a plurality of matched record groups are generated. The computer-readable program code may determine a set of maximal connected components from the plurality of matched record groups, perform a merge operation on the set of maximal connected components to generate a set of merged records, the set of merged records comprising a second plurality of data records, less than the first plurality of data records, and send the merged records for storage in a non-transitory computer readable storage medium.

Abstract: Accident location data and present vehicle feature data may be obtained, wherein the accident location data indicates one or more locations associated with one or more vehicular accidents, and the present vehicle feature data indicates one or more sets of vehicle features. A set of prediction model parameters of a prediction model may be configured based on the accident location data and the present vehicle feature data for prediction of damage-reduction-related values associated with a set of available vehicle features. The prediction model may be used to determine one or more damage-reduction-related values based on first vehicle data indicating a first vehicle, a set of vehicle features available to the first vehicle, and a first geospatial location. A first set of features for the first vehicle may be generated based on the damage-reduction-related values.

Abstract: System and method is provided for scheduling of a set of non-preemptive tasks by partitioning, the set of non-preemptive tasks either as a set of schedulable tasks or as a set of non-schedulable tasks; sorting, by a scheduling technique, the set of non-preemptive tasks partitioned; determining, by the scheduling technique, a possibility of execution of each of the set of schedulable tasks; and scheduling the set of schedulable tasks and the set of non-schedulable tasks upon determining the possibility of execution of each of the set of schedulable tasks.

Abstract: A method for routing customer service requests to call centers includes collecting data associated with customer service experience between a customer and a call center regarding a completed customer call. The collected data is analyzed to determine a quality of customer service for one or more completed calls between the customer and the call center. A nature of an incoming customer call is determined. The incoming customer call is routed to a call center based upon making reference to the analyzed collected data such that the nature of the customer call matches with corresponding one or more favorable attributes of the call center.

Abstract: A drilling system can include a downhole assembly with a liner hanger, a liner running tool, a lower wellbore liner, a cementing module, and a drilling tool. The drilling system can provide a single-trip procedure that enables a well operator to drill the wellbore while simultaneously running in a wellbore liner and subsequently cement the annulus around the lower wellbore liner. Once the cement is deposited, a liner hanger can be actuated and a liner running tool released to enable the remaining portions of the downhole assembly to be pulled out of hole while leaving the lower wellbore liner cemented in place.

Abstract: An attention marker can be transmitted to a radio receiver using an out-of-band transmission. One or more watermarks can be inserted in an over-the-air broadcast. A radio can include a tuner for receiving the over-the-air broadcast; an out-of-band receiver to receive substitute media content and the attention marker; memory to store the substitute media content; a user interface to play out media content to a user; and processing circuitry implementing multiple modules such as a marker detection module, a watermark detection module, and a local playout control module. The marker detection module can detect the out-of-band attention marker, and in response to detection of the attention marker trigger or schedule activation/deactivation of the watermark detection module. If the watermark detection module detects a watermark, the substitute content stored in the memory can be played out in place of the broadcast content.

Abstract: An electro acoustic technology (EAT) based micro seismic sensor and tiltmeter system and method is described for the measurement of minute deformations in downhole formations caused by hydraulic fracturing or other sources of pore pressure changes. A number of sensor arrays are described that are installed in clamp-on EAT devices installed in tool wells located in close proximity to hydraulically fractured wells.

Abstract: In some embodiments, an apparatus and a system, as well as a method and an article, may operate to estimate a value for a mud cake parameter to provide an estimated mud cake parameter value; to generate, in a solution operation, a formation parameter value and an adjusted mud cake parameter value using the estimated mud cake parameter value; and to provide corrected galvanic tool resistivity measurements based on at least the adjusted mud cake parameter value. Additional apparatus, systems, and methods are disclosed.

Abstract: A device may receive voice call data indicating that a voice call has been initiated between a first device and an interactive voice response device. The device may obtain, based on the voice call data, a user account identifier identifying a user account and obtain, based on the user account identifier, user account data including user authentication data. The device may receive user input provided by the first device during the voice call and determine, based on the user authentication data, that the user input fails to authenticate a user associated with the user account. The device may receive data indicating that the voice call has terminated and identify, based on the user input failing to authenticate the user, a second device. The device may perform an action based on the second device and the voice call data.

Abstract: A breakable capsule such as a seamless breakable capsule useful in a smoking article or a smokeless tobacco product includes an outer shell formed of a cross-linked agar matrix including at least one filler, and an inner core surrounded by the outer shell which comprises a liquid or gel based composition of a flavorant and/or non-flavorant. The cross-linked agar matrix is reinforced with carboxymethyl cellulose that is dispersed throughout the agar matrix so as to fill empty spaces in the agar matrix and inhibit the composition from passing through the empty spaces of the agar matrix.

Abstract: Apparatus and methods to process vehicle or driver behavior data are described herein. In some examples, the behavior data is used by a premium calculating engine to derive a premium for a vehicle insurance policy using the data. The behavior data may be associated with a single driver, or may be associated with all drivers of a vehicle without regard to the actual drivers, in some examples. Data received from the vehicle may also include vehicle performance data, in further examples. Additionally, a method of underwriting a dynamic vehicle insurance policy is described, in one example.

Abstract: A wellbore isolation is introduced into a wellbore and includes an elongate body defining an interior and comprising an upper sub, a lower sub, and a mandrel extending therebetween. A sealing element is disposed about the mandrel and upper and lower slip assemblies are positioned on opposing axial ends of the sealing element. A setting piston is positioned within a piston chamber defined by the lower sub and the mandrel, and a mandrel plugging device is positioned within the mandrel. The mandrel plugging device plugs the interior and transitions between occluding setting ports defined in the mandrel and exposed the setting ports to facilitate fluid communication between the interior and the piston chamber. The interior is pressurized to actuate the setting piston and set the lower slip assembly, and further pressurized to move the mandrel and set the upper slip assembly.

Abstract: A process for authenticating a communication device may include receiving an authentication request including an access credential having a timestamp generated by the communication device may be received by the server. A determination can be made as to whether the communication device had successfully executed a predetermined shutdown sequence by determining whether the access credential has reliable timestamp information. The communication device can be authenticated when the timestamp has a non-reset value indicating that the communication device had successfully executed the predetermined shutdown sequence, and that the access credential has not expired. Step-up authentication for the communication device can be requested when the access credential has unreliable timestamp information indicating that the communication device did not successfully execute the predetermined shutdown sequence.

Abstract: The present invention relates to novel lip/cheek probes for detection of pulse-based differences in light absorbence across the vascularized tissue of a lip or cheek of a patient. These probes are fabricated to provide signals to estimate arterial oxygen saturation, and/or to obtain other photoplethysmographic data. The present invention also relates to a combined probe/cannula. The present invention also relates to other devices that combine a pulse oximeter probe with a device supplying oxygen or other oxygen-containing gas to a person in need thereof, and to sampling means for exhaled carbon dioxide in combination with the novel lip/cheek probes. In certain embodiments, an additional limitation of a control means to adjust the flow rate of such gas is provided, where such control is directed by the blood oxygen saturation data obtained from the pulse oximeter probe.
