  • Patent number: 10936458
Abstract: Disclosed are hardware and techniques for testing computer processes in a network system by simulating computer process faults and identifying risk associated with correcting the simulated fault and identifying computer processes that may depend on the corrected computer process. The interdependent computer processes in a network may be determined by evaluating a risk matrix having a risk score and non-functional requirement score. An analysis of the risk score and non-functional requirement score accounts for interdependencies between computer processes and identified corrective actions that may be used to determine an optimal network environment. The optimal network environment may be updated dynamically based on changing computer process interdependencies and the determined risk and robustness scores.

  • Patent number: 10934834
Abstract: Wireless downhole sensor technology is being deployed in oil and gas wells. System components are inductively coupled, which enables remote placement of apparatus on the outside of wellbore conduit without the need for any wired connection. These systems make use of a pair of conductive elements that need to be aligned in the well. Embodiments of the present invention provide techniques to correctly space out the wellbore completion string so that the downhole conductive elements will be properly aligned and within proximity to establish wireless connectivity, as the wellbore completion string is set and the tubing hanger is landed inside the wellhead housing of the well.

  • Patent number: 10938874
Abstract: A server receives a message from a subscriber. The message includes a subscriber identifier and one or more one or more first identifying attributes associated with a first media-work played-out by the subscriber. The server performs a first-level match between the first identifying attributes and unique identifiers included in a database. In response to the first-level match indicating that the first identifying attributes do not include any of unique identifiers, the server performs a second-level match, which compares the first identifying attributes to content attributes of different media-works linked to the unique identifiers. In response to the second-level match identifying one or more matching first identifying attributes to the content attributes that are linked to a particular unique identifier included in the database, the server selects enhanced content based on the particular unique identifier, and delivers that enhanced content to the subscriber.
