Patent number: 10625958Abstract: In accordance with presently disclosed embodiments, systems and methods for using containers, instead of pneumatic transfer, to move bulk material from a transportation unit to a blender receptacle (e.g., hopper or mixer of a blender) are provided. A transportation unit may deliver multiple containers of bulk material to the well site, where multiple conveyors may deliver the containers to a location proximate the blender receptacle. Openings at the bottom of the containers are arranged adjacent one another so that the load of two containers may be delivered to the tight space occupied by the blender receptacle. Since the transportation unit is able to unload the containers of bulk material without pneumatic transfer, the containers may enable a cleaner and more efficient bulk material transfer at the site.Type: GrantFiled: May 7, 2015Date of Patent: April 21, 2020Assignee: Halliburton Energy Services, Inc.Inventors: Bryan Chapman Lucas, Tim H. Patent number: 10628674Abstract: Techniques are described for capturing an image of a document or other type of physical object, and presenting the image in a user interface (UI) with an overlay that includes context information regarding the document or other physical object in the image. An application running on a portable computing device receives an image of the document that is captured using a camera of the device. The application may perform an initial analysis to identify one or more data elements present in the document, such as certain words, phrases, paragraphs, and so forth. The data elements can be uploaded to a remote service that analyzes the data elements and returns context data which is presented as an overlay to the image of the document. The context data can then be presented in an overlay to the presented image of the physical object.Type: GrantFiled: December 6, 2018Date of Patent: April 21, 2020Assignee: United Services Automobile Association (USAA)Inventor: Hrishikesh Godse
