Patent number: 10635437Abstract: Techniques are described to automate deployment of an application as a cloud computing service. Such deployment may be accomplished on any underlying host infrastructure. As mentioned above, a typical application may engage in a number of build and deployment processes in order to run on a host computer with an infrastructure type. The techniques described herein may leverage an artificial intelligence computation library to identify which build and deployment processes are required by the application. Once identified, the user may select a host infrastructure type and create a container package with a runtime machine and components configure to run these build and deployment processes for that host infrastructure type. The container package may be used to generate an image from which the host computer can run the application as the cloud computing service. Other embodiments are described and claimed.Type: GrantFiled: April 25, 2019Date of Patent: April 28, 2020Assignee: Capital One Services, LLCInventors: Anoop Kunjuramanpillai, Phani Krishna Hari, Radford Shiozaki, Baswaraj Thota, Kenneth Naugle, David Schaaf

Patent number: 10636030Abstract: Techniques for providing a secure mesh network based on a cryptocurrency blockchain are provided. An electronic device can receive data from a mesh network to establish the device as a node on the mesh network. The established node can generate a cryptocurrency wallet that can be loaded with an amount of cryptocurrency. The established node can receive a payment for facilitating transfers on the mesh network including routing transactional or communication data. Public and/or private keys associated with the cryptocurrency wallets can be used to encrypt communications, thereby providing a secure mesh network. Further, the blockchain, which can be managed by one or more authorized nodes of the mesh network, can provide a payment system within the mesh network. The distributed nature of the mesh network allows it to operate securely without a central authority. In turn, the mesh network is more adaptable and flexible.Type: GrantFiled: November 6, 2018Date of Patent: April 28, 2020Assignee: Capital One Services, LLCInventors: Austin Grant Walters, Jeremy Edward Goodsitt, Fardin Abdi Taghi Abad

Patent number: 10635964Abstract: Systems and methods include initializing a trainees population (TP), calculating an objective function (OF) of the TP to identify a trainer. A teaching pool is created using variables of each trainee and the identified trainer, and unique variables are added to obtain an updated teaching pool (UTP). Search is performed on the UTP to obtain ‘m’ subset of variables and OFs. The OFs of ‘m’ subset are compared with OFs of the trainer's and each trainee's variable and one of the trainer or each trainee are updated accordingly. An updated learning pool (ULP) is created for selected trainee and the trainees, by adding unique variables to obtain ‘n’ subset. The OF of ‘n’ subset are compared with objective functions of selected trainee and the trainees and variables are updated accordingly. These steps are iteratively performed to obtain an optimal subset of variables that is selected for teaching and learning phase.Type: GrantFiled: March 30, 2017Date of Patent: April 28, 2020Assignee: Tata Consultancy Services LimitedInventors: Narayanan Ramamurthi, Geervani Koneti

Patent number: 10635961Abstract: In certain embodiments, indication-related detectable changes on a transaction token may be facilitated. In some embodiments, a transaction card may determine a state of the transaction card (e.g., during an interaction with a transaction terminal). The transaction card may generate a signal related to a color based on the state of the transaction card and cause the signal to be transmitted to a change element of the transaction card. The change element may be configured such that the change element causes one or more edges or other portions of the transaction card to be (i) a first color in response to the signal being a first signal and (ii) a second color in response to the signal being a second signal. As an example, the portions of the transaction card may turn red when the signal is a first voltage and green when the signal is a second voltage.Type: GrantFiled: August 9, 2019Date of Patent: April 28, 2020Assignee: Capital One Services, LLCInventor: Joerg Rings

Patent number: 10635513Abstract: A computer-implemented system and method to track a transaction that is executed by a series of applications in a workflow. Each application in the workflow generates an application log file that includes a standard header, which in turn includes a transaction ID associated with the transaction, an outcome associated with a step of the transaction executed by each of the applications, and a timestamp associated with the step of the transaction. The application log file with the header is received and stored by the computer system. The computer system can thereafter retrieve and display the entire transaction history for the transaction across all of the applications in response to a user query. The standard header is appended to the application log file and agnostic to the underlying technology used to implement the application system so that any transaction can be reconstructed end-to-end regardless of the form of the application system.Type: GrantFiled: November 20, 2019Date of Patent: April 28, 2020Assignee: Morgan Stanley Services Group, Inc.Inventors: Kumar Vadaparty, Vishal Agrawal, David Testa
