  • Publication number: 20200096421
Abstract: Traditionally, benchmarking of asset performance involves comparing actual performance with ideal values that correspond to test conditions which may not be realized in practice leading to inappropriate ranking of the assets. Systems and methods of the present disclosure use condition-aware reference curves for estimating the maximum possible operating efficiencies (under specific operating conditions) instead of the theoretical maximum efficiencies. The reference curves are received from the manufacturer or obtained from on-site test results. Benchmarking is then performed based on two dimensions, viz., an inter-asset metric and an intra-asset metric that are analogous to the first law and second law of thermodynamics respectively. The two-dimensional benchmarking then helps in identifying inefficient assets that may be analyzed further for finding the root cause.

  • Publication number: 20200099723
Abstract: A secure mobile financial transaction is provided by receiving, over a communication network, a list of protection mechanisms available for implementation by an external terminal. Security-related data is received from one or more sensors and an attack signature is computed based on the security-related data. An appropriate security policy is selected from multiple security policies stored in a database based on the list of protection mechanisms and the attack signature. A secure communication session is established between the external terminal and an internal network component according to the selected security policy. A data message associated with a mobile financial transaction is communicated over the communication network during the communication session.

  • Publication number: 20200096341
Abstract: Conventional techniques involve fusion of Inertial Measurement Units (IMU) sensor based method and vision based localization technique for localization of rotor systems. However vision based localization technique may be prone to errors due to motion blur, drastic lighting change, sudden rotation at UAV, and the like, while the drift in IMU based localization severely impact overall solution. Embodiments of the present disclosure provide systems and methods to eliminate (or filter) drift for dynamics model based localization of multirotors. The dynamics equations require drag modelling, which is dependent on velocity, to generate vehicles' acceleration along the body axis. The present disclosure considers the drag contribution, at velocity level, as a low frequency component. Incorrect or nonmodelling of this low frequency component leads to drift at velocity level. This drift can then be removed through a high pass filter to obtain drift free velocity data for pose estimation and better localization thereof.
