Abstract: This disclosure relates generally to data masking, and more particularly to method and system for dynamic data masking for mainframe application. In one embodiment, the method includes receiving a request to access a mainframe application from a user profile. A role assigned to the user-profile is fetched from a roles-repository. The role defines rights associated with the user-profile to access information from the mainframe application. Corresponding to the request, an access session is initiated based on the role, and a screen is received. The screen includes a multiple fields, where one or more fields includes sensitive data associated with the mainframe application. Contextual information associated with the plurality of fields is identified corresponding to the session. Rules indicative of the fields to be masked, are fetched corresponding to the screen based on the role. The fields are masked based on the rule and the contextual information associated with the fields.

Abstract: A treatment to temporarily block highly permeable areas in a wellbore having a temperature of less than 160° F. A diverting agent, a catalyzer, and a viscosifier are mixed together and pumped in the wellbore where the treatment flows in the most highly permeable areas. The diverting agent then begins to block those areas as the well is treated finally causing the fluid to divert to other now more highly permeable areas of the wellbore. After less than 48 the diverting agent degrades sufficiently to restore the permeablility of the wellbore.

Abstract: Metamaterials are used in well logging measurement tools to provide high directionality galvanic and induction tools having metamaterial focusing. Using metamaterial lenses, currents injected by galvanic tools can be focused in both axial and azimuthal directions. In addition, the focus plane can be shifted away from the tool body into a borehole formation, making measurements more sensitive to zones of interest and less sensitive to boreholes and invaded zones. Another metamaterial lens can bend injected currents toward the head of the tool, adding a look-ahead functionality.
