Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable storage media for providing communication recommendations to users. The system receives electronic transcripts associated with a first user and generates, based on the transcripts, a communication profile of the user. The system also receives additional user transcripts associated with a plurality of additional users and generates additional communication profiles for those additional users based on the additional transcripts. The system receives a request to communicate with at least one user within the plurality of additional users regarding a specified topic, identifies a second user from within the plurality of additional users, and generates a communication initiation recommendation for the first user to communicate with the second user. The system then transmits the communication initiation recommendation to a first user computing device associated with the first user.

  • Publication number: 20240246049
Abstract: Embodiments relate to a hydraulic fracturing system that includes a blender unit. The system includes an auger and hopper assembly to receive proppant from a proppant source and feed the proppant to the blender unit for mixing with a fluid. A first power source is used to power the blender unit in order to mix the proppant with the fluid and prepare a fracturing slurry. A second power source independently powers the auger and hopper assembly in order to align the hopper of the auger and hopper assembly with a proppant feed from the proppant source. Thus, the auger and hopper assembly can be stowed or deployed without use of the first power source, which is the main power supply to the blender unit.

Abstract: Systems and methods for propagating labels through a sparsely labeled dataset using a supervised projection of a semantic embedding. The system may receive the dataset and a labeling task. It may determine a semantic graph by embedding the dataset using a language model. It may process the semantic graph in an artificial intelligence model, as well as determine: an optimal set of dimensions for the labeling task based on the semantic graph; a projected graph based on the optimal set of dimensions; a first distance between a first projection and a second projection in the projected graph; a first likelihood the first projection has a first label; and a second likelihood the first projection has a second label based in part on the first distance to the second projection. It may compare the first likelihood to the second likelihood and generate a recommendation to stop the labeling task.

  • Publication number: 20240249287
Abstract: A system and method for detecting a recurring charge that is unknown to the customer and/or the result of fraud or deceit is disclosed. A customer complaint initiates an analysis of a particular transaction. In response to the complaint, information relating to the transaction is extracted and used to identify additional information from a variety of different sources. Such information may include information relating to the customer, information relating to the merchant, as well as information relating to past transactions or related transactions. This information is provided to a machine learning algorithm, both for training purposes and for analysis purposes. The machine learning algorithm analyzes a transaction in order to determine the likelihood that the transaction is a recurring transaction, as well as the likelihood that it is a result of a bad actor, fraud or deceit.

Abstract: The disclosure relates generally to assortment of products in a retail scenario and more particularly to variety optimization in hyper-localized assortment. In retail scenario, due to availability of limited space in the store, retailers have limited options for displaying a category based on the attribute values of important attributes of the category. In addition, due to increased customer expectations, the attribute values are increasing each day leading to challenges in variety optimization in assortment. The state-of-art techniques address the problem of identification of key attributes for a category, however identifying optimal attribute values among the numerous attribute values specific to location of stores is still challenging.

  • Publication number: 20240250586
Abstract: Electric motors are used in oil and gas applications to drive downhole submersible pumps. Upon shutdown of such pumps, a column of fluid remains thereabove. When power is removed, the fluid flows back down the casing causing the motor to rotate backward and generate a voltage that is applied up the power cable to the surface. If the motor is restarted before backspin ceases, damage to the drive shaft is likely. Additionally, the up-hole applied voltage during backspin can pose a shock-risk to personnel at the surface. The present systems and methods minimize these risks by identifying backspin events based on determining phase angle differences at the three phases of the permanent magnet motors and alerting relevant personnel and otherwise preventing re-initiation of motor operation until after backspin has ceased.

  • Publication number: 20240248101
Abstract: The invention provides a method involving assessing the vitamin C renal leak status of a human subject, vitamin C renal leak being the clinically inappropriate presence of vitamin C in urine. The method comprises assaying for the concentration of vitamin C in a plasma sample and in collected urine output, whereby the presence of vitamin C in the collected urine output and a concentration of vitamin C in the plasma sample less than the Minimum Elimination Threshold (MET) indicates the presence of vitamin C renal leak. Vitamin C renal leak also can be quantified by determining the fractional excretion of vitamin C (FeVC), which is a measurement of the degree of urinary vitamin C excretion relative to plasma vitamin C concentration corrected by creatinine clearance. The invention also provides a test kit for assessing vitamin C renal leak and a test kit for assessing FeVC.

Abstract: This disclosure relates generally to system and method for identifying suitable equipment for pelletizations of particles. Conventional approaches for identifying pelletization equipment for a process are cumbersome and unmethodical. Even though, methods of identifying optimal operating conditions in a particular equipment for a desired product specification are widely discussed in literature, these research works lack in considering practical criteria like equipment cost, equipment capacity, equipment maintenance, etc., in addition to product specifications while deciding a suitable pelletization equipment. Present disclosure provides system and method that involve optimization to identify the best range of operating parameters in a pelletization equipment to achieve desired product size distribution for a given feed size distribution.

Abstract: Methods and systems are described herein for an access control system that may receive, from a device associated with a cryptography-based storage application, a blockchain operation request. The blockchain operation request may include an identifier of a cryptographic token (e.g., non-fungible token) that may store encrypted verification data encrypted using a public key associated with the cryptography-based storage application. The access control system may use an address associated with the cryptography-based storage application to send the verification data so that the verification data is decrypted and a first encoding of the decrypted data is generated by the device associated with the cryptography-based storage application. The access control system may then compare that first encoding with a second encoding made from the original verification data, and, based on the first encoding matching the second encoding, generate an authentication confirmation.
