Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for identifying one or more vibration mechanisms or other mechanism associated with tool failure. In one example, a machine learning data system comprises a data pre-processing module, a machine learning training module, and a predictive module. The pre-processing module analyzes dynamic sensor input to identify one or more vibration mechanisms associated with a downhole tool. The machine learning training module identifies a correlation between dynamic sensor data and failure data for a plurality of downhole tools. The predictive module correlates the one or more vibration mechanism with tool failure or performance.

Abstract: In some implementations, a device may detect edges in an image, and may identify, based on the edges, a rectangle that bounds a document in the image. The device may detect lines in the image, and may identify edge candidate lines by discarding one or more of the lines. The device may identify intersection points where lines, included in the edge candidate lines, intersect with one another. The device may identify corner candidate points by discarding one or more points included in the intersection points, and may identify a corner point included in the corner candidate points. The corner point may be a point, included in the corner candidate points, that is closest to one corner of the bounding rectangle. The device may perform perspective correction on the image of the document based on identifying the corner point.

Abstract: Various embodiments of the present invention introduce techniques for efficient and resilient network-wide supervision of a hierarchically-segmented blockchain network. A hierarchically-segmented blockchain network may include S segment ledger systems associated with S network segments and G local ledger systems. In response, various embodiments of the present invention utilize a centralized global ledger monitoring system that non-persistently monitors the S+G monitored systems via periodic chaincodes that are configured to verify targeted transactions associated with particular local ledgers and/or segment-wise ledgers during particular transactional junctures associated with ledger data.
Abstract: Various embodiments are generally directed to improving card security by providing a user a contactless card with no sensitive card information, such as card number, card verification value, and expiration date, printed thereon, and displaying the sensitive card information relative to the card in augmented reality (AR) based on successful NFC-based user authentication. According to examples, the NFC-based user authentication may be performed by one-tapping or single tapping the contactless card to user mobile device. One or more portions of the sensitive card information may be obfuscated to further enhance card security. Moreover, the user can interact with AR elements including the sensitive card information to perform various actions.

Abstract: A mobile lift column (200) is configured to automatically position itself with respect to a vehicle (112) to be lifted. A proximity and object sensor is used to identify a location of a vehicle and navigate obstructions while advancing to the vehicle. The column includes a set of automatically driven Mecanum wheels (222, 224) that can be variably controlled to provide precise movement in any direction without rotating the column. A camera (244) positioned on the column identifies a wheel of the vehicle, and an alignment beam is projected onto the wheel to verify centering on the wheel. Once positioned, the column may operate one of several lift members, including a pair of removable fork adapters (216, 218), to extend underneath the vehicle and contact the vehicle lifting points. With at least two columns properly positioned, each mobile column can simultaneously raise its lift member(s) to lift the vehicle to a desired height.

Abstract: A method and system for protecting access to remote systems, such as resource databases containing sensitive resources, such as cryptographic keys or personally identifying information, is disclosed. A server can receive a plurality of access requests from a requesting entity. The server can identify an entity profile corresponding to the access requests, as well as a machine learning model corresponding to the entity profile. The access requests can be used to form access sequences, which can be evaluated by the machine learning model. The machine learning model returns an anomaly score that can be compared to a threshold. If the anomaly score exceeds the threshold, the server can prevent further access to the remote system, for example, by revoking a credential associated with the requesting entity.

Abstract: A power supply section for an e-vaping device includes a sensor housed in a housing, a sensor holder holding the sensor, the sensor holder disposed in the housing to divide the housing into a first portion and a second portion, and the sensor and the sensor holder configured to substantially prevent air flow from the first portion into the second portion, and a power source disposed in the second portion. The construction of this unit insures that gases that may be produced by outgassing of the battery cell will be vented to the environment and that those gases will be isolated from the air that is mixed with the vaporized e-liquid and inhaled by the user.
Abstract: Several round-efficient solitary multi-party computation protocols with guaranteed output delivery are disclosed. A plurality of input devices and an output device can collectively perform a computation using methods such as fully homomorphic encryption. The output of the computation is only known to the output device. Some number of these devices may be corrupt. However, even in the presence of corrupt devices, the output device can still either generate a correct output or identify that the computation was compromised. These protocols operate under different assumptions regarding the communication infrastructure (e.g., broadcast vs point-to-point), the number of participating devices, and the number of corrupt devices. These protocols are round-efficient in that they require a minimal number of communication rounds to calculate the result of the multi-party computation.
Abstract: Systems and methods of the present disclosure relate to actuator assemblies for downhole tools. An actuator assembly comprises a motor, a spring and a hammer. The spring is adjacent to the hammer, and the hammer operable to compress the spring. The spring is operable to expand. The assembly also includes an anvil adjacent to the hammer. The anvil is operable to move a portion of the downhole tool.
Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for remote activation of an automated teller machine (ATM) to dispense cash to a customer. The customer may stage a transaction using a mobile application on a mobile device. Upon the staged transaction being authenticated and approved, the customer may visit the ATM. The customer may capture an image being displayed on a display of the ATM using a camera of the mobile device. The captured image may be sent to an application server from the mobile device. The application server may associate the ATM with the staged transaction that is staged using the mobile application, and send instructions to the ATM to dispense cash according to the staged transaction.
