Publication number: 20240190765Abstract: Embodiments herein provide a system for electrically heated gas mixture mediated industrial plant processes providing a fossil fuel free approach. The system utilizes a gas mixture as heating medium that directly transfers heat to a raw material required for processing the raw material into an end product. The gas mixture used as a heating medium can be a byproduct generated during processing or a combination of stable gases that are reutilized and recirculated to carry heat and dissipate the heat at various stages of processing in accordance with a heating medium design loop. The heating medium design loop disclosed is designed such that it eliminates the need of heat management equipment like a Thermal Energy Storage (TES) system used by existing approaches. Entire heating of the plant is carried out using electric gas heaters heated using renewable electric sources to provide the fossil fuel free design.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 11, 2023Publication date: June 13, 2024Applicant: Tata Consultancy Services LimitedInventors: Akanksha DHAYAL, Mohammed Suhail, Sivakumar Subramanian, Venkataramana Runkana

Publication number: 20240193250Abstract: A method includes an access device determining an interaction value associated with an interaction. The access device prompts a user operating a user device for a secret. The access device receives the secret. The access device receives an initial communication then a user device certificate comprising a public key from the user device. The access device then verifies the certificate. The access device concatenates at least the secret and an unpredictable number to form a concatenated value. The access device encrypts the concatenated value with the public key, then transmits the encrypted concatenated value. The user device decrypts the encrypted concatenated value with a private key, verifies the unpredictable number, verifies the secret, determines whether or not the interaction is approved, produces an interaction authorization result, and then provides the interaction authorization result to the contactless access device. The access device receives the interaction authorization result.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 31, 2021Publication date: June 13, 2024Applicant: Visa International Service AssociationInventors: Yuexi Chen, Marc Kekicheff

Publication number: 20240195623Abstract: Methods and systems are described herein for using cryptographic tokens that represent real-world items to enable those items to be used in different virtual worlds (e.g., game worlds). In particular, an object retrieval system may be used to retrieve a cryptographic token that encodes parameter data for an object to be used (e.g., displayed) within a plurality of computing platforms. The object retrieval system may determine (e.g., using a cryptographic signature) that the user is allowed to use the object and may then generate a set of parameters for representing the object with the particular computing platform requesting the object. The object retrieval system may then transmit the parameters to the requesting platform. The object retrieval system may perform the same operations for requests from other platforms, such that the object retrieval system may uniquely encode the parameters for the particular platforms.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 12, 2022Publication date: June 13, 2024Applicant: Capital One Services, LLCInventors: Kevin OSBORN, Imren JOHAR, Dennis Sean BRENNAN

Publication number: 20240195618Abstract: The present disclosure a method for a lattice-based homomorphic proxy re-encryption scheme. Conventional methods are attribute based and the attribute-based encryption schemes employ very expensive operations and generate long ciphertexts and secret keys (whose sizes also increase linearly with the size of the access policy), which makes them hard to implement in real-life applications. The present disclosure provides a unidirectional, single-hop HPRE scheme from the Learning With Errors (LWE) assumption which is Chosen Plaintext Attack (CPA) secure. Further, the present disclosure is based on the widely accepted BGV algorithm that supports both levelled FHE operations as well as arbitrary number of ciphertexts with unique and secure re-encryption key generation. Further, the present disclosure provides batch evaluation of ciphertexts, in order to enable re-encryption and evaluation of multiple ciphertexts.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 7, 2023Publication date: June 13, 2024Applicant: Tata Consultancy Services LimitedInventors: ARINJITA PAUL, RAJAN MINDIGAL ALASINGARA BHATTACHAR, IMTIYAZUDDIN SHAIK
