Abstract: Apparatus uses engineered collection media to recover mineral particles in a mineral extraction process, e.g., for processing a tailings stream at the end of a flotation separation process. The engineered collection media are added to slurry/tailings containing the mineral particles. The engineered collection media have collection surfaces coated with a chemical selected for attracting the mineral particles to the collection surfaces so the engineered collection media becomes mineral laden media in the slurry/tailings in a loading stage. The apparatus include three stages: removing unwanted material from mineral laden media; using a stripping agent to strip the mineral particles from the mineral laden media; and separating the engineered collection media from the mineral particles and the stripping agent. The stripping agent is reused for stripping, and the engineered collection media are returned to the loading stage. The engineered collection media can have a smooth or foam-like surface.

Abstract: A multi-tiered automated parcel sortation system is utilized to sort parcels according to a common destination. A first tier includes an automated sorter configured to transport parcels from a source location to a release destination. A second tier includes accumulation containers each associated with a shipping destination, and the release destination within the first tier is a positioned directly above the accumulation container associated with the shipping destination of the parcel. Once transported to the release destination, a parcel is released into the accumulation container, and once the accumulation container is filled, the accumulation of parcels within the container is released into a third tier, which may include conveyors or autonomous guided vehicles with transport containers. In the third tier, the parcels are transported away for further processing.

The system may receive data indicating selection of a vehicle of interest. The system may determine a proposed offer package for the vehicle of interest comprising an associated overall price and at least one from among a warranty option, maintenance option, and service contract option based on the customer preferences information and historical transaction data.

Abstract: A urological device, that provides for the guided placement of the distal end of an indwelling catheter into a patient's bladder, includes: (a) a cylinder whose proximal end has a larger diameter than its distal end, (b) a confirmation lumen in the cylinder that is configured to allow for drainage of urine from a patient's bladder to confirm the necessary placement of the device's distal end in a patient's bladder, (c) a guide wire lumen in the cylinder that extends between its ends, (d) a guide wire, and (e) wherein the guide wire lumen is configured to first allow for the passage of the guide wire's distal end through the guide wire lumen and into the patient's bladder and then the withdrawal of the cylinder from the patient's urethra while leaving behind the guide wire's distal end in the patient's urethra for use in the insertion of an indwelling catheter.

Abstract: A self-cleaning temperature sensor comprises: a bellows coupled to a support structure; a pneumatic or hydraulic cylinder; a sensor configured to measure a temperature of a fluid and extending from the pneumatic or hydraulic cylinder, wherein the sensor comprises an exposure end configured to contact the fluid during sensing by the sensor; sensor wires connected with the sensor and extending to a control system; and a self-cleaning system comprising: a hood having walls extending radially outward a distance along a central axis wherein the hood defines a first volume; and a cleaning brush integrated with or adjacent the bottom of the support structure. In a retracted configuration, the exposure end of the sensor is positioned at a retracted position a distance from cleaning brush, and, in an extended configuration, the exposure end of the sensor extends a distance along the central axis away from the retracted position.

Abstract: A system and method for supplying electric power to various pieces of fracturing equipment in a fracturing operation with gas powered generators. The system and method also includes switch gears, auxiliary trailers, transformers, power distribution panels, new receptacles, and cables to supply three-phase power to electric fracturing equipment. The switchgear in the power supply system is weatherproof and able to endure the wear and tear of mobilization. The novel system and method provide clean and quiet electricity to all the equipment on site.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a system for a double-sided credit card and a method of manufacturing the same. In some embodiments, the double-sided credit card comprises a first side and a second side opposite to the first side. The first side comprises a first antenna configured to transmit electronic signals to execute transactions linked to a first financial account, while the second side comprises a second antenna configured to transmit electronic signals to execute transactions linked to a second financial account. An electronic blocker layer is positioned between the first side and the second side such that the electronic signals executing transactions linked to the first financial account is blocked from interfering with the electronic signals executing transactions linked to the second financial account.

Abstract: An ad simulator having at least in-browser simulation capabilities is provided. In examples, the ad simulator may be a web browser extension, which a media developer, designer, etc. may use for ad display simulation. The browser extension may locate existing display ads on a webpage, one or more of which can be selected to be replaced with a new ad. A HyperText Transfer Protocol (HTTP) request may be made to an ad template rendering engine that returns a HyperText Markup Language (HTML) of a new ad personalized and targeted to a customer. The browser extension may then replace the existing ad with the new ad.

Abstract: Disclosed are devices, systems and methods for managing parking monitoring and enforcement. In one aspect, a method of determining whether a vehicle is present in a parking space includes monitoring the parking space with a first vehicle detection technique utilizing image processing and monitoring the parking space with a second vehicle detection technique that does not utilize image processing. The parking space can be monitored with a third vehicle detection technique that is different than the first and second vehicle detection techniques. A conclusion that a vehicle has entered or left the parking space can be determined upon a agreement of the multiple techniques employed.

Abstract: Characterizing the decay of the microstructure of a drilling fluid gel using a model based on two exponential functions. Based on the model, identify at least two components of the decay model comprising a fast decay component and a slow decay component, wherein the fast decay component decays more quickly than the slow decay component. The decay of the microstructure of the gel over a time period can be determined using a rheometer or viscometer. Wellbore processes, including start up and tripping operations can be optimized based on the determination of the fast decay component and/or a slow decay component of the drilling fluid gel.

Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein may relate to systems and methods for secure authentication that enable a user to set up an account or log in an existing account upon an existing user vouching for the user. Embodiments disclosed herein relate to verifying one or more attributes of the user by transmitting multiple decentralized verification notifications to multiple existing users. Upon receiving a verification quorum, a request may be authenticated.

Abstract: Described are a system, method, and computer program product for real-time payment gateway event monitoring. The method includes receiving input data from a merchant system including an application URL associated with a merchant control interface having a web socket programmed and/or configured to persistently listen for HTTP POST messages, and an event of a payment gateway system. The method also includes monitoring ongoing events of the payment gateway system associated with ongoing transaction messages communicated from point-of-sale (POS) devices to the payment gateway system and detecting the event in the ongoing events. The method further includes, in response to detection of the event, generating a HTTP POST message including event data of the event, and communicating the HTTP POST message to the application URL to cause the merchant control interface to display the event data in a chart for visual representation of the event data.

Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed herein for authenticating a user. A security device may use an object associated with a user and a device of the user to authenticate the user, for example, if the user has forgotten a password. A user may insert the object (e.g., a card, or other object) into the security device and may select an option to authenticate via a device that is trusted by both the security device and the user, rather than authenticating by entering a password at the security device.

Abstract: Techniques for authorizing a transaction or interaction of a user that is modified by authentication information for the same user are described herein. In embodiments, an authorization request message for a transaction and a session identifier may be received from a transport computer or a resource provider computer. A portion of pre-analyzed data about the user and the one or more interactions may be obtained, from a database, based on the session identifier. A risk analysis for the transaction using the portion of the pre-analyzed data may be performed to generate a value. The authorization request message may be modified to include the portion of the pre-analyzed data and the value. The modified authorization request message may be transmitted to an authorizing computer.

Abstract: A method includes determining a set of regions for each of a first plurality of images of a first item type, a second plurality of images of a second item type, and a third plurality of images of a third item type. The method also includes for each region in each set of regions of the images, generating, by the processing computer, a vector representing the region, and then generating a plurality of aggregated messages using the vectors corresponding to combinations of images of different types of items, the images being from the first, second, and third plurality of images. Then, unified embeddings are generated for the images in the first, second, and third plurality of images, respectively, using aggregated messages in the plurality of aggregated messages. Matching scores associated with combinations of the images are created using the unified embeddings and a machine learning model.

Abstract: Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer-readable media for secure management of accounts on display devices using a contactless card. An application executing on a display device may receive a request specifying a service provider. The display device may receive a cryptogram generated a contactless card, and transmit the cryptogram to an authentication server. The authentication server may decrypt the cryptogram and generate a virtual account number associated with the contactless card. The authentication server may transmit the virtual account number to the service provider, which may create an account based at least in part on the virtual account number and the decryption of the cryptogram by the authentication server. The display may receive an authentication token generated by the service provider for the account, and access the account created by the service provider based at least in part on the authentication token.

Abstract: In some embodiments, storing mutable user data in a Non-Fungible Token (NFT) may be facilitated. In some embodiments, user specific information for a user may be received. The user specific information may comprise data for a plurality of data fields. A status parameter for each data field of the plurality of data fields may be generated, where the status parameter is related to the accuracy of data for a respective data field. The system may generate, via a blockchain platform service, an NFT comprising the plurality of data fields and the status parameters. The system may then determine whether data associated with a first data field is (i) current based on a first status parameter and (ii) mutable. In response to determining that the data associated with the first data field is (i) not current and (ii) mutable, a first action may be performed.
