Patent number: 11986193Abstract: Methods and devices for consistently and accurately controlling the depth of the graft tunnel. A sheath is inserted into the bone until a stop member on the sheath contacts the bone. A cutting member is then deployed to drill a larger bore in the tunnel until making contact with the distal end of the sheath. The cutting member may be drawn retrograde within the tunnel, or driven antegrade from an opening opposite the opening in which the sheath resides. The drill and the sheath can then be removed, leaving the tunnel that includes a tunnel portion sized to fit a graft so that the graft fits tightly within the tunnel portion and is flush with the opening of the tunnel.Type: GrantFiled: June 2, 2022Date of Patent: May 21, 2024Assignee: Integrity Medical Services Inc.Inventor: Nirav H. Patent number: 11988520Abstract: The present disclosure relates to monitoring data in and around a vehicle to predict anomalous, e.g., unsafe, road conditions, and using the data to suggest a corrective action to avoid the unsafe road conditions. A computing device receives information indicative of imagery, sound, or vehicle operation via sensors and/or cameras mounted in or near a vehicle. The information may be received via the vehicle itself or via a device. The computing device then determines whether there is an indication of an anomalous road condition. The computing device also receives vehicle operation data extracted from one or more vehicle sensors. The computing device then determines whether there is an indication of unsafe road conditions, and if there is, the computing device may output a notice or alert via a notification system to alert the driver.Type: GrantFiled: August 31, 2022Date of Patent: May 21, 2024Assignee: United Services Automobile Association (USAA)Inventors: Emily Margaret Gray, Daniel Christopher Bitsis, Qunying Kou, Robert Wiseman Simpson, Manfred Amann, Donnette Moncrief Brown, Eric David Schroeder, Meredith Beveridge, Michael J. Patent number: 11989670Abstract: A system and method that allow an institution's customer's anticipated data to be stored in a cache in advance of a request for that data, using predictive models based upon analyses of each specific customer's historical patterns. For example, when a customer logs on to an institution's server, a machine learning application on that server may predict the type or category of data that the customer may intend to retrieve, based upon his or her previous patterns when logging on. Typical categories of data may include, for example, account balances, status of outstanding loans, credit card data, and insurance information. By populating the cache with such anticipated data, that data may be more quickly accessed by the customer.Type: GrantFiled: November 8, 2021Date of Patent: May 21, 2024Assignee: United Services Automobile Association (USAA)Inventors: Gunjan C. Patent number: 11987216Abstract: A rock knocker bracket holds a rock ejector such as a chain or bar that is used to clear debris from the gap between two tires of a mining vehicle. The rock ejector is pivotally mounted on a horizontal, lateral pin that is held at both ends by side plates of the bracket. The pin has a series of holes formed along its length. Bar retainers and washers mounted on the pin allow the rock ejector to be moved laterally along the pin and thereby provide for different laterally spacing configurations of the tires. Fasteners pass through holes in the bar retainers and the holes in the pin to hold the rock ejector at a predetermined lateral location along the pin. Alternative designs for the pin and the bracket include other systems for laterally moving the rock ejector and mounting it in the predetermined lateral position.Type: GrantFiled: September 23, 2020Date of Patent: May 21, 2024Assignee: Austin Engineering USA Services, Inc.Inventors: Seth J.
