Abstract: The present invention concerns the use of compounds and compositions for the treatment or prevention of Flavivirus infections, such as dengue virus infections and Zika virus infections. Aspects of the invention include methods for treating or preventing Flavivirus virus infection, such as dengue virus and Zika virus infection, by administering a compound or composition of the invention, to a subject in need thereof; methods for inhibiting Flavivirus infections, such as dengue virus and Zika virus infections, in a cell in vitro or in vivo; pharmaceutical compositions; packaged dosage formulations; and kits useful for treating or preventing Flavivirus infections, such as dengue virus and Zika virus infections.

A lower wall forms a bottom bound on the interior space. An alignment tab straddles a respective one of the upper fold lines. The alignment tab also has an intermediate fold line between the first and second ends of the alignment tab that is closer to the first end than to the second end, such that the alignment tab projects upward from the upper wall and separates two vertical, inward facing alignment edges at an upper end of the adjacent one of the lateral walls. A retention tab extends downward from the adjacent one of the lateral walls and is configured to engage two vertical, inward facing alignment edges of a similar container for alignment in a stack.

Abstract: Owing to their stochastic nature, Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) are more suited to participate in short-term or intraday electricity markets. However, it is very difficult for an asset owner to manage their operation when interacting with markets and create operation schedules. Present disclosure provides systems and methods that for the trades/bids placed earlier to be corrected based on the revised forecasts of demand and generation in the DER pool. The system models an optimal bidding problem of aggregators in an intraday market as a mixed-integer non-linear programming (MINLP) problem. The MINLP problem is converted to an NLP problem by an optimization model and integer variables are relaxed to solve the NLP problem and obtain (i) an optimal intraday operating schedule for one or more DERs, and (ii) an intraday bid associated with the DERs for a plurality of delivery slots to be traded in an intraday market.

Abstract: A process is provided for protecting a primate host from a self-replicating infection by an immunodeficiency retrovirus. Protection is achieved by administering to the primate host a combination of a pharmaceutically effective amount of a nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor and a pharmaceutically effective amount of a nucleotide reverse transcriptase inhibitor prior to exposure to the immunodeficiency retrovirus. The administration is effective if provided in a single dose within 24 hours of the exposure. A regime of regular daily doses is also effective in providing protection against an immunodeficiency retrovirus becoming self-replicating after infecting a primate host.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to implementations of systems and methods for plant tissue sampling utilizing a sampling clip. The clip may be used to obtain a tissue sample of a plant and retain the sample for subsequent analysis. The clip, including the sample, may be shipped (if necessary) without the user ever needing to contact the sample directly. In many implementations, the sample may be automatically extracted from the clip for analysis without requiring human intervention. As a result, cross-contamination possibilities may be avoided or eliminated. The clip and/or sample collectors may be disposed of after use or sterilized in a group.

Abstract: A method for testing an interaction system response to different types of interaction devices is disclosed. A testing computer can execute various sets of interaction device logic during different test interaction. The testing computer can electronically communicate with an access device during test interaction through a conduit mobile device. As a result, the testing computer can electronically communicate with the access device even when the testing computer is remotely located.

Abstract: A computing system for executing a simulation of a tactical engagement configured to receive a first set of data comprising an indication that a laser sensor worn by a participant was struck by a laser transmitted from a firearm; and receive a second set of data from the firearm comprising data generated by an image capture device of the firearm and an indication that one or more of the participants are present in the data. The computing system is further configured to retrieve data comprising position information and velocity information on the participants that are present in the second set of data. The computing system is further configured to identify a target participant from the participants identified in the second set of data; determine whether the target participant is struck by a simulated ammunition round fired from the firearm; and determine a final outcome for the tactical engagement.

Abstract: A cement composition can include water and a blended cement. The cement composition can be free of Portland cement. The blended cement can include cement and a supplementary cementitious material. The cement can be calcium aluminate cement or calcium aluminophosphate cement. Fly ash is a common supplementary cementitious material containing silica. However, fly ash can have large variances depending on the source of the fly ash. Instead of fly ash, the supplementary cementitious material can be ground synthetic glass, such as soda-lime glass, which has consistent properties regardless of the source.

Abstract: A sterilization system for an aerosol-generating device includes a charging station and a sterilization device. The charging station is configured to receive the aerosol-generating device. The sterilization device includes at least one UV diode. The sterilization device is configured to couple to the charging station and surround the aerosol-generating device when the aerosol-generating device has been received by the charging station. The at least one UV diode is configured to sanitize an exterior of the aerosol-generating device when the at least one UV diode is actuated.

Abstract: Enterprises need assurance that their internal documents like policies, procedures, controls, standard operating procedures (SOPS) are adherent to the regulatory obligations. In conventional practice this requires a manual effort where legal, business and IT experts collaborate for assuring completeness and consistency in enterprise documents with respect to regulatory obligations, thereby establishing regulatory hygiene. Governance risk and compliance (GRC) frameworks help experts with collaboration but do not provide automation aids necessary to reduce the analysis and synthesis burden. Present disclosure provides system and method for determining hygiene in the plurality of enterprise documents with respect to the plurality of regulatory obligations by extracting concept ontology models from multiple enterprise documents and multiple regulations and enabling navigation across multiple documents via the ontology.

Abstract: Nucleic acid constructs encoding a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) and a truncated human epidermal growth factor receptor (huEGFRt) are described. The encoded CARs include a tumor antigen-specific monoclonal antibody, such as a glypican-3 (GPC3)-specific, a GPC2-specific or a mesothelin-specific monoclonal antibody, fused to a CD8? hinge region, a CD8? transmembrane region, a 4-1BB co-stimulatory domain and a CD3? signaling domain. Isolated host cells, such as isolated T cells that co-express the disclosed CARs and huEGFRt are also described. T cells transduced with the disclosed CAR constructs can be used for cancer immunotherapy.

Abstract: A system for employing machine learning to generate customized notifications for a user is provided. The system may identify a landmark in proximity to a user's mobile device and may obtain information associated with products or services offered by the landmark. While the mobile device is within a predetermined distance of the landmark, a machine learning model may be employed to generate a customized notification, such as an offer—e.g., a discount or a special financing offer for one of the identified products—generated specifically for use by the user based on the user's spending and/or financing history. The customized notification may be transmitted to the mobile device with a security key for accessing the offer. In response to receiving an indication that the security key was selected and the product purchased, the user may be authenticated and the offer may be applied to an account associated with the user.

Abstract: State of art techniques for color regeneration are complex and fail to provide color control. Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method and system for generating color variants for fashion apparels by providing a Fashion Apparel Regeneration-Generative Adversarial Network (FAR-GAN) to generate color variants of the fashion apparels. The FAR-GAN utilizes a two-step encoding process to encapsulate both an input image and an edge-map information along with a target color embedding branch to manipulate the color information present in the fashion apparel present in the input image that is to be changed to a desired target color. Furthermore, the color and structural information is disentangled by controlling them using a color consistency loss. The FAR-GAN can be trained end-to-end without incorporating complex multi-step process.

Abstract: A one-time transaction token is requested by a user from a payment provider system for a payment transaction initiated by the user. The one-time transaction token is stored by the payment provider system. The one-time transaction token is provided to the user, and the user provides the one-time transaction token to a transaction processing system and from there to an acquirer processing system. Based on the one-time transaction token received, the acquirer processing system identifies the payment provider system which generated the one-time transaction token and transmits it to the identified payment provider system. Upon receipt of the one-time transaction token, the identified payment provider system validates the received one-time transaction token with the one-time transaction token previously generated by the identified payment provider system.
