Abstract: In some implementations, a user device may present, on a user interface (UI) associated with a user account, a first UI element. The user device may detect a user interaction, with the user device, indicating the first UI element. The user device may present, on the UI and based on the user interaction, a second UI element, which increases in length in a first direction from a start point, along a closed path around the first UI element and ending at the start point, while the user interaction is being detected. The second UI element completes the closed path when an interaction duration satisfies a duration threshold, which indicates a confirmation of a request for an action associated with the user account. The duration threshold is based on one or more parameters associated with one or more of the action, the user account, or the user interaction.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a system comprises a database configured to store at least one record, at least one network communication device, a storage device comprising instructions, and at least one processor configured to execute the instructions to perform a method. The method may comprise receiving a fraud communication associated with a first primary account number, calculating one or more limitations associated with the first primary account number based on an account associated with the first primary account number, and storing a database record including the first primary account number, a new primary account number, and the limitation(s). The method may further comprise receiving a transaction request including a second primary account number, and comparing the second primary account number to the at least one record. The method may also comprise, based on the comparing, enabling the transaction request to proceed, declining the transaction, or disabling the first primary account number.

Abstract: Radio frequency identification (RFID) systems for use with tires include a stud comprising reactive strap technology including an RFID chip and conductor. The stud is configured so as to be connected to a tire and to provide near field communication. The stud also may be coupled to an antenna structure to provide a far field RFID tag. The stud may unintentionally move with respect to the antenna structure during use, so the antenna structure may be configured to accommodate such movement without a change in the tuning of the RFID tag. A multi-antenna label may be provided to allow for selective coupling of the stud to a particular antenna, with differently configured tires being coupled to different antennas of the same type of multi-antenna label, which allows for the same label configuration to be used with a wider variety of tires.

Abstract: Based on the interaction data and response data, an interaction monitoring platform may determine a first known sentiment and a second known sentiment, identify a first pattern and a second pattern in the interaction data, and generate a first pattern-level sentiment and a second pattern-level sentiment based on the known sentiments and the identified patterns. A binary indicator may indicate which identified patterns are exhibited in a subset of the interaction data. The platform may train a gradient boosting model using known sentiment as a target variable and using binary indicators and pattern-level sentiments as input data. The platform may predict a sentiment corresponding to a subset of interaction data with unknown sentiment that exhibits one or more of the first pattern or the second pattern based on a binary indicator and the trained gradient boosting model.

Abstract: Provided is a filter plug, a well system, and a method for fracturing a well system. The filter plug, in one aspect, includes a filtration skeleton. The filter plug according to this aspect further includes a degradable material in contact with the filtration skeleton, the filtration skeleton and degradable material configured to lodge within a port in a wellbore, and thus substantially plug the port when the degradable material remains intact with the filtration skeleton and allow the filtration skeleton to filter particulate matter as fluid passes there through when the degradable material no longer remains intact with the filtration skeleton.

Abstract: Described are a system, method, and computer program product for efficiently joining time-series data tables. The method includes loading a first table and a second table into a memory and generating a set of first key-value pairs based on a set of first time-series records and a set of second key-value pairs based on a set of second time-series records. The method also includes sorting the set of first key-value pairs and the set of second key-value pairs. The method further includes interleaving the set of first key-value pairs with the set of second key-value pairs and sequentially matching the sets of time-series records to form a joined table. The method further includes, in response to matching each respective second time-series record with the respective first time-series record, removing the respective second time-series record from the at least one memory.

Abstract: A device may receive audio data based on a capturing of sounds associated with a structure. The device may obtain a model associated with the structure. The model may have been trained to receive the audio data as input, determine a score that identifies a likelihood that a sound is present in the audio data, and identify the sound based on the score. The device may determine at least one parameter associated with the sound. The device may generate a metric based on the at least one parameter associated with the sound, and perform an action based on the metric.

Abstract: Logic may detect a malfunctioning payment interface on a customer's payment instrument. Logic may receive transaction data about at least one transaction performed via a payment instrument associated with a customer. The transaction data may indicate a payment interface of the payment instrument through which the customer conducted the at least one transaction and the payment instrument may comprise one or more payment interfaces. Logic may determine, by a model, based on the transaction data, a probability of a malfunction by at least one interface of the one or more payment interfaces. The model may be trained based on a pattern of transactions associated with malfunctioning payment instruments. Logic may compare the probability of the transaction against a threshold. And logic may determine whether to contact a customer associated with the payment instrument, based comparison of the probability of the transaction against the threshold.

A detector may receive electromagnetic radiation from the integrated computational element and produce an output correlated to a characteristic of the substance. A mitigation technique may be selected, based on the detector output.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method and system for routing payment transactions of a payment account. After the payment transaction is initiated, a payment server identifies flag information from the payment request indicating a payment account to be multi-configurable. When the payment server identifies that the payment request is from the POS device, the payment server retrieves primary configuration details corresponding to the payment account from a routing service and routes the payment transaction for the payment request to an issuer corresponding to the primary configuration details. Further, when the payment server identifies that the payment request is from a payment gateway, the payment server retrieves a list of names of configuration details corresponding to the payment account from the routing service for selection.

The acoustic isolator may comprise a body, one or more annular chambers formed inside the body of the acoustic isolator and positioned along a longitudinal axis of the acoustic isolator, an annular groove formed on an outer surface of the body of the acoustic isolator, and a passage disposed between the one or more annular chambers and the annular groove. The method may comprise transmitting an acoustic wave from a transmitter disposed on an acoustic logging tool into a subterranean formation, receiving an acoustic signal from the subterranean formation with a receiver disposed on the acoustic logging tool, and attenuating a second acoustic wave that moves between the transmitter and the receiver and through an acoustic isolator.

A system for activity risk management may include a memory storing instructions and at least one processor configured to execute instructions to perform operations including: accessing document data associated with at least one of a transaction or an individual; normalizing the document data; classifying the normalized document data; extracting model input data from the classified document data; applying a machine learning model to the extracted model input data to score the document data, the machine learning model having been trained to generate a favorability output indicating a favorability of the transaction or individual; and generating analysis data based on the scored document data.

Abstract: Methods are disclosed for treating a subject with a cobalamin C (cblC) deficiency. These methods include selecting a human subject with the cblC deficiency; and administering about 5 mg to about 10 grams of methylcobalamin (MeCbl) daily to the human subject. Methods also are disclosed for treating a fetus with a cobalamin C (cblC) deficiency. The methods include selecting a female human subject pregnant with the fetus that has the cblC deficiency; and administering about 5 mg to about 10 grams of MeCbl daily to the female human subject, in order to treat the cblC deficiency in the fetus. Optionally, OHCbl can be administered to the subject.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a rotary steerable tool operable to steer a drill bit for drilling a wellbore. In some embodiments, the rotary steerable tool is operable in an acknowledgment mode to confirm receipt of a downlink transmission by performing a detectable acknowledgement action that continues to rotate the drill bit, but temporarily suspends the steering of the drill bit for a period of time by maintaining the valve motor in a stationary rotational position relative to the valve.

Abstract: A method includes forming a communication channel between a user device and an access device. The communication channel is then secured using a user device key pair in the user device and an access device ephemeral key pair in the access device. The access device then generates a session key using at least a private cryptographic key in the access device ephemeral key pair, and a public key in the user device key pair. The access device then uses the session key to secure an ultra-wideband communication channel between the user device and the access device.

Abstract: A system for providing resource material to a customer service representative [CSR], including a database storing a plurality of resources associated with one or more customer service contexts, a memory storing instructions, and one or more processors configured to execute the instructions to analyze an on-going communication including a customer service request received from a customer; determine a context of the request based on the analysis and historical data associated with the customer determined to be associated with the communication, automatically identify, based on the context of the request, a resource in the database associated with the determined context; and display, via a user interface in real-time during the communication, the resource associated with the customer service request.

Abstract: An activation control module utilizes gravity and/or centrifugal acceleration to move a mechanical element that controls, activates or deactivates a mechanical or hydraulic mechanism, for use with a downhole tool such as a drilling tool or reamer in a wellbore. In embodiments, the activation control module described herein may utilize a combination of centrifugal acceleration and/or gravity due to an inclination of the downhole tool to move a valve, which turns off pressure to a hydro-mechanical system. The activation control modules may be utilized in applications where very little space is available for larger mechanisms. Further, the activation control modules do not require expensive and complex electro-mechanical systems, reducing or eliminating the need for batteries, wiring, electronics, motors, pumps and the like. Moreover, the activation control modules described herein do not require the use of a turbine, a centrifugal clutch or a linear actuator.
