  • Patent number: 11699437
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable storage media for quantifying meeting effectiveness for an individual. A system configured as disclosed herein uses data from multiple meetings in which a user participated to create a user profile for the user. The system then receives data related to a new meeting in which the user participated, processes the new meeting data into segments using natural language processing, tags the resulting segments based on contexts, and compares the tagged segments to the user profile to generate a meeting effectiveness score for the new meeting which is specific to the user. The system can use machine learning to iteratively improve an ability of the system to generate the tagged segments using historical meeting data and updating that historical meeting data with each iteration of scoring a meeting's effectiveness.

  • Patent number: 11696598
Abstract: Apparatus and methods are described for use with a vaporizer that vaporizes at least one active ingredient of a plant material. In response to receiving a first input to the vaporizer, the plant material is heated, in a first heating step. An indication of the temperature of the plant material is detected, and, in response to detecting an indication that the temperature of the plant material is at a first temperature, the first heating step is terminated, by withholding causing further temperature increase of the plant material. The first temperature is less than 95 percent of the vaporization temperature of the active ingredient. Subsequently, a second input is received at the vaporizer. In response thereto, the plant material is heated to the vaporization temperature, in a second heating step. Other applications are also described.

  • Patent number: 11696602
Abstract: An aerosol-generating device includes a heating chamber structure, a heater coupled to the heating chamber structure, and a compression assembly. The heating chamber structure defines a fixed-volume enclosure and is configured to hold an aerosol-forming substrate within a first region of the enclosure. The heater is proximate to a first surface that at least partly defines the first region and is configured to generate heat that is transmitted into the first region to cause the aerosol-forming substrate to form an aerosol without any combustion. The compression assembly includes a compression plate and a compression actuator. The compression plate and the first surface define opposing boundaries of the first region. The compression actuator moves the compression plate through the enclosure to adjustably compress the aerosol-forming substrate in the first region against the first surface.

  • Publication number: 20230214312
Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for mapping API dependencies for a journey test. An embodiment operates by receiving, at a graphical user interface (GUI), a test script representing the user journey within an application, wherein the test script specifies a sequence of application programming interfaces (APIs) that have been called as a user journeys through the application. The embodiment generates an API dependency map within the GUI comprising a sequential map of visual objects, illustrating (1) each of the APIs specified in the test script and (2) any dependent API called by each of the APIs. The embodiment executes the test script representing the user journey. The embodiment generates a status corresponding to each of the APIs called when executing the test script. The embodiment causes display of the generated status of an API or dependent API within the GUI selected by the user.

  • Publication number: 20230214826
Abstract: A method includes a validation computer receiving an authorization request message comprising a user state and a user proof from a user device. The user state comprises first and second user state elements. The user proof comprises first, second, and third user proof elements. The validation computer computes a first verification value by multiplying the first user proof element raised to the power of the second user state element, and the second user proof element raised to the power of the first user state element. The computer computes a second verification value by raising the second user proof element to the power of the second user state element. The computer compares the first verification value to a first accumulated state element of an accumulated state. The compares the second verification value to a second accumulated state element. The validation computer authorizes the authorization request message based on the comparison steps.
