Abstract: Systems and methods for secure mobile checkouts are disclosed. The system may include a secure mobile checkout device configured to scan products available in a merchant store. The device may scan the product to determine a product identifier. The device may transmit the scanned product data to a checkout application to retrieve product data corresponding to the product identifier. In device may initiate a transaction with a payment network to purchase the product, based on the product data provided by the checkout application. The payment network may process the transaction, and may authorize the purchase with the merchant.

Abstract: A direct payment token generation method provides executable codes to a client device. The executable codes invokes functionalities in a browser application. The set of executable codes further provides login prompts to the user for logging to a virtual wallet account. The method provides a list of products for purchase from merchants in response to a successful login to the virtual wallet account. A graphical element is provided for purchasing one provided product from one of the merchants. In response to receiving a selection of the provided graphical element confirming the purchase, a payment token is generated for the virtual wallet account. The received selection includes confirming detailed information of the purchase. The payment token is transmitted to the client device and is embedded in a payment payload with the detailed information of the purchase. The payment load is transmitted to the one of the merchants to complete the purchase.

Abstract: Various embodiments of the present technology can include systems, methods, and non-transitory computer readable media configured to receive information about a plurality of regions contained within a hierarchy of a computer network environment, wherein the plurality of regions are assigned respective prime numbers. A first prime number assigned to a first region of the plurality of regions is determined. A second prime number assigned to a second region of the plurality of regions, wherein the second prime number is different from the first prime number is determined. A nearest common region in the hierarchy that includes the first region and the second region based on the respective prime numbers is identified. A security policy associated with the nearest common region is determined.

Abstract: Systems and methods for generating synthetic video are disclosed. For example, a system may include a memory unit and a processor configured to execute the instructions to perform operations. The operations may include receiving video data, normalizing image frames, generating difference images, and generating an image sequence generator model. The operations may include training an autoencoder model using difference images, the autoencoder comprising an encoder model and a decoder model. The operations may include identifying a seed image frame and generating a seed difference image from the seed image frame. The operations may include generating, by the image sequence generator model, synthetic difference images based on the seed difference image. In some aspects, the operations may include using the decoder model to synthetic normalized image frames from the synthetic difference images. The operations may include generating synthetic video by adding background to the synthetic normalized image frames.

Abstract: A drilling system for drilling a wellbore using drilling fluid includes a drillstring, a drill bit coupled to the drillstring, and a mud motor coupled to the drillstring and operable to rotate the drill bit by rotating a driveshaft with a bore. The drilling system also includes a bearing assembly that includes a bypass fluid flowpath through the bearings for drilling fluid to divert from the bore. A choke assembly positioned in the bypass fluid flowpath restricts flow of the diverted drilling fluid such that some diverted drilling fluid flows into an annulus in the wellbore outside of the bearing assembly through an unsealed annulus port and some of diverted drilling fluid is recaptured through a return flowline. The drilling system also includes a rotary steerable system operable to push the drill bit in a desired direction using pads extendable with the drilling fluid.

Abstract: A parking enforcement and vehicle charging system can include a weather resistant housing, a processor disposed inside of the housing, a memory disposed inside of the housing and coupled to the processor, a network interface disposed in the housing and coupled to the processor, a first camera disposed in the housing and facing outward towards a first parking space, and a charging port and electricity supply configured to allow a vehicle in the first parking space to be plugged in for recharging. The processor can be configured to recognize when a vehicle first occupies the first parking space.

Abstract: A hospital bed includes a sleep deck having an upper portion, a middle portion, and a lower portion each defining a support surface and an underbody that defines a notch. An opening is defined by and extends through the upper portion. A space is defined between the upper portion and the middle portion. A mattress is disposed on the sleep deck. An outer mattress shell encases the mattress and includes a fold defined by a weld. A mattress retention assembly is coupled to the outer mattress shell. The mattress retention assembly includes at least one of a first magnet and a second magnet selectively coupling the mattress to the sleep deck, a portion of the mattress retention assembly extends between the outer mattress shell and the sleep deck, an affixing member disposed on the outer mattress shell, and a retention ridge extending through the sleep deck.

Abstract: A method includes receiving, by a network computer, a request message including interaction data for an interaction with a user. The interaction data includes an account identifier for an account of the user. The network computer determines that the interaction is eligible for an installment plan by analyzing the interaction data. Based on determining that the interaction is eligible for the installment plan, the network computer transmits data identifying the installment plan. The network computer receives acceptance of the installment plan by the user. Responsive to confirming the acceptance, the network computer initiates the installment plan.

Abstract: The disclosed embodiments generally relate to transaction card constructions, and particularly, to a two-piece transaction card construction. Disclosed embodiments include a generally planar first card component including a first surface and a generally planar second card component including a second surface wherein the first card component is separate from the second card component. In disclosed embodiments, for example, the generally planar first card component and the generally planar second card component may be configured such that one forms a cavity and the other forms an inlay component configured to be seated within the cavity. In other embodiments the generally planar first card component and the generally planar second card component may be configured such that one forms a container and the other forms a lid configured to close the container.

Abstract: An application data exchange technique may include a communication device establishing a communication channel with an access device, receiving an access device profile of the access device, and emulating a virtual access device on the communication device based on the access device profile. The virtual access device executing on the communication device may issue a set of application commands to a transaction applet executing on the communication device, and receive a set of application data responses from the transaction applet in response to the set of application commands. The communication device, may then generate a data packet by concatenating application data contained in the set of application data responses, and transmitting the data packet to the access device via the communication channel.

Abstract: A method includes positioning a formation tester tool into a borehole formed within a formation and radially expanding a first and second radially extendable packers of the formation tester tool out from the formation tester tool to the formation to form a sealed volume between the first radially extendable packer and the second radially extendable packer. The method includes radially extending a pad of the formation tester tool that is positioned between the first radially extendable packer and the second radially extendable packer to form a sealed connection volume between the formation and a pressure sensor within the pad. The method includes acquiring a first pressure measurement, using the pressure sensor, from fluids in the sealed connection volume and extracting fluid from the sealed volume to reduce pressure around the pad. The method includes acquiring a second pressure measurement, using the pressure sensor, from fluids in the sealed connection volume.

Abstract: Disclosed are methods and systems for validating instruments. For instance, a request to generate a cashier's check may be received from an application executing on a drawer's computing device. Request information may be stored within a data storage entry for the check, and a code to be printed on the check may be generated to include at least a portion of the request information. Instructions may be provided to a printing system to cause the check to be printed with the code, where the printed check is invalid. Instructions may be provided to the application and/or printing system to cause display of a prompt to facilitate a reading of the code to validate the check. When information within the code is read by and received from the printing system, the check may be validated, which triggers a transfer of funds from the drawer's account. Otherwise, the check may remain invalid.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for determining monitoring compliance for an enterprise application deployed on an application delivery platform. Existing resources, monitors and alerts are discovered with gaps in monitoring being calculated based on a comparison of monitoring objectives and the existing monitors and alerts. Gaps in monitoring are reported in a GUI reflecting effectiveness of existing monitors.

Abstract: Methods and systems for providing browser extension are disclosed. In some embodiments, the browser extension system includes a communication device in communication with a computing device and a networked system. The browser extension system also includes a processor configured to perform operations comprising: maintaining data associated with the computing device; detecting, through a browser extension application running on the computing device, a field in a web page associated with the networked system and provided by a web browser application running on the computing device; and in response to detecting the field: (i) automatically populating the field, through the browser extension application, with a secure token mapped to the data, (ii) detecting, through the browser extension application, a submission script associated with the web page, and (iii) automatically executing the submission script to submit the secure token through the browser extension application to the networked system.

Abstract: Various embodiments are directed to overlaying relevant product information in augmented reality via the use of near-field communication (NFC) and a product selection system. A user may authenticate into an application or user profile. Information about the user in the user profile may be used to determine which products are relevant to the user. Information related to the relevant products may then be displayed to the user in augmented reality, which improves at least the overall shopping and in-store experience.

Abstract: A tank fill control apparatus comprising: a tank-installed switch, including: a tubular body including an upper end, a lower end, and an annular mounting flange on an outer surface between the upper end and the lower end; a liquid level sensor including a detector, a float in and moveable along a length of the lower end and a rod connecting the float to the detector, the liquid level sensor configured to sense a liquid level relative to the lower end and further configured to generate a signal when at least a maximum selected liquid level is sensed; and a control unit in communication with the tank-installed switch including: a liquid level monitoring function for receiving the signal from the liquid level sensor; and a control function for generating at least one of (i) an alert signal indicating that the maximum selected liquid level is sensed and (ii) a valve control to modify a fill operation from a tank fill system.

Abstract: In certain embodiments, secure data presentation may be facilitated for a tactile system. In some embodiments, the tactile system may include a display having carbon nanotube-based components having a surface that absorbs at least 96% of visible light. The tactile system may obtain tactile data and present the tactile data on the display by adjusting one or more positions of the carbon nanotube-based components based on the tactile data. In some embodiments, the tactile system may obtain environmental data (e.g., lighting data, presence data, etc.) for an environment (in which the display is located) and perform the adjustment of the positions of the carbon nanotube-based components based on (i) the tactile data and (ii) the environmental data.

The backend system may generate the website within the third-party domain, including a request for information about the user, in response to executing the call to the website. The backend system may transmit a request for generating prequalification result for the product to the decisioning service. The backend system may receive the prequalification result from the decisioning service.
