Abstract: An electronic device may include logic to provide a trust credential for linking to a permissioned network over a local network, comprising a plurality of user devices; retrieve a document in an initial status for editing, corresponding to a first state of a distributed ledger, maintained by the permissioned network; generate a first change in the document, wherein the document is in a second status; send, to the permissioned network via the local network, the first change for storage in the distributed ledger, in a second state; retrieve the document in a third status, including a second change, performed subsequently to the first change, the second change being generated by a user device, external to the electronic device, and coupled to the local network; and link to the distributed ledger to retrieve a third state of the distributed ledger, the third state comprising the first change and the second change.

Abstract: Techniques are described for determining account features based on a risk assessment. A first set of account features may be determined, including security feature(s) such as mode(s) for authenticating and/or verifying the identity of a user associated with account(s). Based on the first set of features, a risk metric may be determined for the account(s). The risk metric may indicate a risk that fraud may be committed against the account or using the account. Based on the determined risk metric, a second set of account features may be determined for the account(s). The first and second sets of account feature(s) may be applied to the account(s). Disabling a particular feature may cause a reevaluation of the risk metric and a redetermination of the feature sets to be applied to the account(s).

Abstract: Computer system compares data across two data sources. Database connectivity drivers access the first and second data sources. RAM receives and stores data from each of the first and second data sources accessed by the drivers. The data from the first data source are stored in a first table in the RAM and data from the second data source are stored in a second table in the RAM. A processor compares data in the first and second tables. The processor is programmed to compare the data by identifying a set of primary keys across the first and second tables. The set of primary keys are a set of one or more columns in the both first and second tables that uniquely identify rows across both the first and second tables.

The sensor unit is coupled to the cover and arranged to underlie a patient supported on the cover. Abstract: In some implementations, a device may receive, from one or more data sources, information indicating a plurality of data sets, where the plurality of data sets indicate information associated with respective physical locations or online locations. The device may identify a data set, from the plurality of data sets, that indicates information associated with an online location, where the information includes at least one of an entity name, an address, a phone number, a uniform resource locator, an entity identifier, or metadata. The device may parse the data set to identify information for a set of features. The device may analyze the information for the set of features to determine a brand associated with the online location. The device may pair the online location with the brand in the database such that the online location is linked with a first physical location of the brand in the database.

Abstract: A medication dispensing system, comprising one or more medication panels, each having a plurality of docking ports located at a vertical displacement one from another. The medication dispensing system comprises: a plurality of medication container assemblies for storing medication, coupled to the plurality of docking ports; one or more actuators; a gripping assembly, movable vertically by the one or more actuators to a proximate one or more of the medication container assemblies for picking a medication dosage out of the one or more of the medication container assemblies; and a receptacle carrier having a receptacle mount for holding one or more medication receptacles configured to receive the medication dosage.

Abstract: An e-vapor device may include a pre-vapor sector and a heater structure arranged in thermal contact with the pre-vapor sector. The pre-vapor sector is configured to hold and dispense a pre-vapor formulation. The heater structure includes a base wire and a shell layer coating the base wire. The base wire is insulated from the shell layer. The shell layer includes at least one recessed portion between a first unrecessed portion and a second unrecessed portion. The at least one recessed portion is a thinner section of the shell layer that is configured to vaporize the pre-vapor formulation to generate a vapor. As a result of the heater design, the heater structure is stiffer and more robust than other related heaters in the art, thus allowing more options for its implementation.

Abstract: An authentication method includes assigning a risk status to a request received from a remote interaction system, transmitting a notification communication to a device associated with the request, monitoring interaction data from an interaction network, and identifying, from the monitored interaction data, authentication interaction information, the authentication interaction information including a coded sequence and a predetermined authentication identifier. The authentication method also includes comparing the coded sequence in the authentication interaction information to an expected coded sequence and transmitting a verification communication after determining the coded sequence in the authentication interaction information matches the expected coded sequence.

Abstract: One embodiment of the invention is directed to a method for performing efficient data searches in a distributed computing system. The method may comprise, receiving a search request including a key. The key may be provided to a block-based table manager via a programming interface external to a virtual machine executing on a computer system. The programming interface may provide a translation between a first programming framework of the virtual machine and a second programming framework of the block-based table manager. Providing the key may cause the block-based table manager to conduct a search for a value corresponding to the key. The value may be provided in response to the search request. Utilizing such block-based tables may enable a data search to be performed using on-board memory of computing node operating within a distributed computing system.

Abstract: An injector includes a needle movable from a retracted position to an injection position. A rotary biasing assembly is stabilized in a stored energy state and releasable into an energy releasing state and includes a cam. A cam follower couples the rotary biasing assembly with the needle and is configured to transform rotation of the rotary biasing assembly in the energy releasing state thereof into translation of the needle from the retracted position to the injection position. An activation switch is rotatable from an unactivated position, stabilizing the rotary biasing assembly in the stored energy state thereof, to an activated position, releasing the rotary biasing assembly into the energy releasing state thereof. An activation button is movably mounted to the injector housing and is translatable from an unactuated position to an actuated position, whereby the translation rotates the activation switch from the unactivated position to the activated position thereof.

The mattress overlay apparatus includes an overlay configured for placement atop the mattress and having a plurality of inflatable bladders, a blower, and first and second rotary plate valves pneumatically coupled to the plurality of bladders and the blower. The sensor is configured to detect an emission of the electronic smoking article. A processor is embedded in the body, where the processor is configured to generate smoking topography data based on the emission. Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for using distributed ledgers to assist in securely developing applications. An application component comprising a component file can be received from a validation client. It can then be determined that the application component complies with a security policy. In response to a determination that the application component complies with the security policy, an endorsed application component record can be generated that comprises the component file or a network address at which the component file is obtainable and a signature for the component file generated with an asymmetric key-pair stored in the memory. The endorsed application component record can then be stored in the distributed ledger.

Abstract: A system for customer defined limited use authorization. The system may receive an identification credential from at least one of an issuer native app or an issuer web app and receive a customer data. The system may determine a valid customer identity in response to the receiving the identification credentials and the customer data The system may receive a request to generate a token from at least one of the issuer web app or the issuer native app, wherein the request comprises at least one of the identification credential or a parent transaction account, and wherein the request comprises at least one of a customer defined authorization control or a customer defined generation control.

Abstract: In certain embodiments, a current amount of an item available from a network resource may be monitored. Based on the monitoring indicating that the current amount fails to satisfy a first threshold, one or more sources may be identified. The one or more sources may be within a threshold proximity of the network resource, and distances between the one or more sources and the network resource may be determined. One or more requests for the amounts of the item to be transferred from the one or more sources to the network resource within time frames may be generated. For example, the time frames may be based on the distances. The one or more requests may be transmitted to the one or more sources.

Abstract: In some embodiments an apparatus includes a housing that defines an interior. The apparatus includes a first circuit board that has multiple integrated circuits (ICs). The first circuit board is disposed within the interior of the housing. The apparatus includes a second circuit board that has multiple ICs. The second circuit board is also disposed within the interior of the housing. The apparatus further includes a first electromagnetic interference (EMI) shield disposed about an IC from the multiple ICs of the first circuit board and not disposed about remaining ICs from the multiple ICs of the first circuit board. Abstract: Provided are systems for conducting private set intersection (PSI) techniques with multiple parties using a data repository that include at least one processor to generate a data repository, receive, from a submission entity system associated with a submission entity, a private set intersection (PSI) data query that includes a match parameter for performing the PSI data query, transmit, to the submission entity system, a data classification encryption key, wherein the data classification encryption key is associated with a data field that corresponds to a match parameter data field of the match parameter, determine whether to authorize the PSI data query on the data repository, transmit, to the submission entity system, a data authorization encryption key based on determining to authorize the PSI data query on the data repository, and perform the PSI data query on the data repository. Methods and computer program products are also provided.
