Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed herein for weighting training data for training a machine learning model. A computing system may use performance metrics to weight some training data over other training data. Weighting training data may increase the ability of a machine learning model to train faster and/or train to generate improved output. A portion of the training data may be weighted according to how well a machine learning model performs after being trained on the portion of training data. The computing system may train machine learning models using different data to train each machine learning model. The computing system may compare one or more performance metrics of each machine learning model and assign a weight to each corresponding dataset based on the comparison. The computing system may use the weighted dataset to train a machine learning model.

  • Patent number: 11567228
Abstract: To generate dispersion curves for acoustic waves in a radially layered system, a matrix M containing solutions to the wave equation subject to the boundary conditions of the system is constructed. The reciprocal condition number (RCN) of the matrix M is determined as a function of acoustic wave frequency and slowness. The local minima of the RCN in the frequency-slowness plane produces the dispersion curves corresponding to allowable acoustic modes in the system. A sensitivity analysis which identifies the dispersion curves dependent on a selected parameter. The dispersion curves independent of the perturbed parameters are eliminated by perturbing the modeling parameters and generating the RCN of the perturbed matrix M and then subtracting the RCN values of the unperturbed matrix M, leaving the dispersion curves that exhibit dependence on the selected parameter.

  • Patent number: 11568405
Abstract: Embodiments are directed to the generation of a token associated with a status. The status of the token may affect how the token is treated and the types of restrictions placed on the token. The status of the token may indicate that the token is generated based on verification of secure user data. Alternatively, the status of the token may indicate that the token is generated based on insufficient user data and, as such, restrictions may be imposed on the token. The token requestor may be a mobile application, such as a merchant mobile application provisioned on a user device. In response to a token request from the merchant, the token provider issues tokens with varying status based on a confidence level. The status of the token may be indicated in terms of token assurance level.

  • Patent number: 11568084
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a method and a system for sequencing asset segments of privacy policy using optimization techniques. The asset segments are sequenced based on several constraints associated with preferences of a source entity and a target entity. Further the disclosure also determines a target entity violation factor that represents a conflict between the preferences associated with the source entity and the target entity. In an embodiment the disclosed method and system optimally sequences the plurality of asset segments using several optimization techniques that include a basic sequence generation technique, a source entity sequence optimizing technique and a target entity sequence optimizing technique considering constraints. Hence the disclosure bridges a communication gap between several stakeholders by optimally displaying the most relevant privacy policy (mapped to the asset segments) considering the constraints or preferences associated with both the source entity and the target entity.

  • Patent number: 11568203
Abstract: Estimating Remaining Useful Life (RUL) from multi-sensor time series data is difficult through manual inspection. Current machine learning and data analytics methods, for RUL estimation require large number of failed instances for training, which are rarely available in practice, and these methods cannot use information from currently operational censored instances since their failure time is unknown. Embodiments of the present disclosure provide systems and methods for estimating RUL using time series data by implementing an LSTM-RNN based ordinal regression technique, wherein during training RUL value of failed instance(s) is encoded into a vector which is given as a target to the model. Unlike a failed instance, the exact RUL for a censored instance is unknown. For using the censored instances, target vectors are generated and the objective function is modified for training wherein the trained LSTM-RNN based ordinal regression is applied on an input test time series for RUL estimation.

  • Patent number: 11569998
Abstract: A system and method are provided for generating access tokens on a user device rather than via a remote server computer. An access token can be generated on a second user device by combining and encrypting, with format preservation, a primary access identifier, variable value, and salt. The resulting value can be provided to a first user device that can subsequently can provide the access token to an access device as part of an interaction. The access device can generate an authorization request message that comprises the access token and transmit it to a remote server computer for processing. The remote server computer can process the access token to determine the primary access identifier despite not being involved in the generation of the access token, providing an improvement over conventional tokenization methods.

  • Patent number: 11567915
Abstract: In some implementations, a data cleaning platform may determine a respective entity key for each data record in a cleansed dataset based on a combination of fields, in each data record, that contain information that uniquely identifies an entity associated with a respective data record. The data cleaning platform may generate a delta dataset based on a set of uncleansed data records related to transactions that occurred after a time when the cleansed dataset was first generated. For example, in some implementations, each uncleansed data record in the delta dataset may be associated with a corresponding entity key based on the combination of fields. The data cleaning platform may perform a data join to update the cleansed dataset to include data records related to the transactions that occurred after the time when the cleansed dataset was first generated.

  • Patent number: 11568414
Abstract: In certain embodiments, an online transaction is verified based on merchant-independent user geolocation. A geolocation of a user associated with the online transaction is obtained from a mobile device of the user by a transaction verifying entity separate and independent from a merchant entity with which the online transaction is initiated. A server associated with the transaction verifying entity determines a proximity of the geolocation of the user to a delivery address for verifying the online transaction. The server generates a verification message including an approval message based on the proximity of the geolocation to the delivery address being within a specified threshold. The server generates a verification message including a rejection message based on the proximity of the geolocation to a delivery address exceeding the specified threshold. The server sends the verification message to another server associated with the merchant entity to carry out the online transaction accordingly.
