Abstract: A downhole logging device, a method of logging a wellbore, and a wellbore logging system are disclosed herein. In one example, the wellbore logging system includes surface equipment operable for monitoring logging operations in a wellbore based on downhole data measurements and a downhole logging device, coupled to the surface equipment through a downhole communications link. The downhole logging device includes one or more downhole tools having at least one data sensor each that captures the downhole data measurements from the wellbore, and a data compression unit that provides a data compression portion and a residual data portion of the downhole data measurements, wherein the data compression portion is provided, via the downhole communications link, to the surface equipment for the monitoring, and the residual data portion is stored downhole.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes a method, system, and apparatus for using a machine learning system to configure and optimize complex, distributed computer networks. The machine learning system receives an input related to a computer network and classifies the input using either a supervised learning approach or an unsupervised learning approach. From the classification of the input, the machine learning system builds a first training domain and determines a steady state network configuration for the computer network. After determining a steady state network configuration for the computer network, the machine learning system receives a plurality of inputs from one or more sensors or agents distributed throughout the computer network. The machine learning system compares the plurality of inputs to the steady state network configuration to detect a deviation from the first steady state network configuration.

Abstract: In some implementations, an instruction management system may receive, from a plurality of user devices, a set of feedback associated with the instruction document. The instruction management system may identify a compliance activity associated with the instruction document and identify at least one location in the instruction document based on the set of feedback. The instruction management system may trigger an instruction to a tracking system to open a ticket associated with the compliance activity and the at least one location.

The anchoring subassembly, in one aspect, includes a mandrel, and an isolation element positioned about the mandrel, the isolation element configured to move between a radially retracted state, a fully radially expanded state, and a relaxed radially expanded state. The anchoring subassembly, in one aspect, further includes a ratch latch body coupled to the isolation element, the ratch latch body configured to hold the isolation element in the fully radially expanded state, and a relief feature coupled to the ratch latch body, the relief feature configured to shear to release stored energy in the isolation element and thereby allow the isolation element to move from the fully radially expanded state to the relaxed radially expanded state.

A method can comprise determining that first serving cell equipment is servicing an aerial user equipment determining that the first serving cell equipment has enabled beamforming, determining that a first beam of a group of beams is being used to service the aerial user equipment, determining a second beam of the group of beams that the first serving cell equipment will use to service to the aerial user equipment, determining that a handover event from the first serving cell equipment to a second serving cell equipment will occur, and causing the first serving cell equipment to adjust an emitted power level associated with the second beam.

Abstract: An augmented reality system including processors and storage devices storing instructions. The instructions may configure the processors to perform operations including determining a location of a mobile device, identifying a facility based on the location, requesting mapping data from a facility server, the mapping data comprising a plurality of vehicles, vehicle location data, and landmarks, identifying one location attribute in a video feed captured by an augmented reality viewer displayed in the mobile device, and determining whether the one location attribute matches the plurality of vehicles or the landmarks. The operations may also include identifying qualified vehicles from the vehicles based on qualification criteria, determining whether the qualified vehicles is in a field of view of the augmented reality viewer based on object attributes and the vehicle location data, and generating a modified video feed by providing an indication associated with qualified vehicles in the field of view.

Abstract: A system and method for controlling a pumps configured to pump fluid from a fluid supply to a frac iron configuration. A pressure schedule is defined, the pressure schedule including a pumps assigned to sets of pumps, wherein each set of pumps is associated with a pressure level and wherein each set of pumps except a first set of pumps is a subset of a previous set of pumps. The first set of pumps is enabled to pump fluid continuously until the fluid in the manifold has reached a predetermined pressure level. A processor then automatically disables the electric pumps that are not in the next set of electric pumps, while allowing the next set of pumps to continue to pump fluid until the fluid in the manifold has reached the next pressure level. This continues until the manifold is at the desired pressure.

Abstract: Systems and methods for extracting and analyzing formation fluids from solids circulated out of a subterranean formation are provided. In one embodiment, the methods comprise: providing a sample of formation solids that have been separated from a fluid circulated in at least a portion of a well bore penetrating a portion of a subterranean formation at a well site; performing a solvent extraction on the sample of formation solids using one or more solvents at an elevated pressure at the well site, wherein at least a portion of one or more formation fluids residing in the formation solids is extracted into the one or more solvents to produce an extracted fluid; and analyzing the extracted fluid at the well site to determine the composition of the extracted fluid.

Abstract: Methods and systems described in this disclosure are directed at gamification. In some embodiments, the present disclosure relates to methods and systems for tracking actions taken by a user at predetermined gaming levels in a gaming application, the gaming application also facilitating users to interact with the gaming application in the form of questions and answers. If the user is unable to provide a minimum number of correct responses to the questions presented, the gaming application displays actions that are to be performed by the user to continue playing the game. In some embodiments, a game is paused temporarily by a pause signal sent to the gaming application. The game resumes when a resume signal is sent to activate the gaming application.

Abstract: An image of a check may be presented for payment in a banking system in place of the physical paper check. The check to be deposited can be collected from a depositor using a scanner. A web site, accessed through a depositor's web browser, can be used to drive the process of collecting the check, but in some contexts (e.g., in less popular computing environments, such as those that do not run the most popular operating systems), it is economically infeasible to obtain the certificates that would be used to allow a program executing in the web browser to control the scanner. Thus, a depositor can be instructed to capture and upload images of the check in the form of files, where the image files are then presented for payment through a banking system.

Abstract: Perceptive scaling of computing resources is disclosed. News sources can be analyzed to identify a future event as well as an occurrence date and type of the event. A computing resource affected by the event can be determined based on the type of event. A scaling strategy can be formulated for the computing resource, such as scaling up or out, to address resource load introduced by the event. The extent of scaling can be determined based on the predicted impact of the event on the computing resource. Subsequently, the scaling strategy can be scheduled for execution before the occurrence date. The scaling strategy can later be terminated or deactivated after the event terminates.

Abstract: Embodiments include systems and methods of a service that allows hard copy and electronic media customers to proactively specify, across a broad range of categories, the hard copy mail and/or electronic media mail that they would or would not like to receive. Embodiments include methods and systems configured to allow customers of delivery services to customize the flow of physical items such as hard copy or other letters or parcels, for delivery or electronic media mail from mailers based on highly specific customer-designated criteria. The delivery service acts as a trusted third party to serve as the intermediary between the recipient of the items and mailers to provide privacy and manage a repository for a customer-selected criteria database. In addition, one embodiment provides verification and/or identification that mail being sent meets the customer's designated criteria.

Abstract: Combined cycle gas turbine (CCGT) power plants have become common for generation of electric power due to their high efficiencies. There are various problem related with improving the efficiency of CCGT plants by optimizing the manipulated variables. The method and system for optimizing the operation of a combined cycle gas turbine has been provided. The system is configured to calculate an optimal value of manipulated variables (MV) with efficiency as one of the key performance parameters. The MVs from the existing CCGT automation system, i.e. a first set of manipulated variables and the manipulated variables from the optimization approach, i.e. a second set of manipulated variables are combined to determine an optimal set of manipulated variables. The method further checks for the anomalous behavior of the system and define the root cause of the identified anomaly and the operational state of the CCGT plant.
