Abstract: Systems, methods and devices for analyzing a sample of fluid extracted from a hydrocarbon-producing geological formation to detect a quantitative amount of hydrogen sulfide or disclosed. The systems methods and devices involve including a scavenger within a sample compartment to react with the hydrogen sulfide therein. The concentration of hydrogen sulfide in the sample may be derived as a function of the amount of scavenger remaining in the sample after reaction with hydrogen sulfide, an amount of byproduct of a reaction between the scavenger and the hydrogen sulfide, or an amount of hydrogen sulfide as measured following a secondary reaction that releases the hydrogen sulfide from the scavenger.

Abstract: A mobile cooling system comprising a heat exchanger for cooling fluids, configured for efficient and cost-effective transportation without wide-load restrictions over highways. The mobile cooler can include a cooler, a motor capable of operating a fan at variable speeds, a control module and telemetry system for remote operation and monitoring, and a solar panel to provide alternative energy, all mounted on a trailer. The cooler is configured to use a fan blowing air to reduce the temperature of a fluid flowing through cooling tubing of the cooler. An engine driver may be located on the same or a separate trailer capable of supplying the cooling system with electrical power. Multiple mobile cooling systems may be efficiently utilized for operations requiring cooling of multiple fluid streams.

Abstract: The subject technology relates to a process by which data from two downhole loggers (e.g., acoustic transducers), one at each end of a pipeline, can be used to improve the resolution of a pressure pulse system, even for slow valve operating times. For example, the process of the subject technology uses data from two transducers (e.g., acoustic transducers), instead of one transducer typically employed in traditional approaches, thereby leading to increased resolution of the deposit location and thickness. By improving the deposition estimation resolution, locating smaller deposits in a pipeline more accurately can be realized. The improved resolution in deposition estimation computations supports better decision making by providing more detailed measurement and quantification data for use in resolution of deposition buildup.

Abstract: A computer-based casino gaming system includes a ticket server and a marker server. The ticket server controls generation and redemption of gaming vouchers used for play at gaming machine/tables. The marker server controls granting of non-cashable markers having non-cashable value to casino patrons. When the marker server determines to grant a non-cashable marker requested by a patron, the ticket server generates a first gaming voucher representing a first monetary value corresponding to the non-cashable value. When the patron uses the first gaming voucher for play at a gaming machine/table, the ticket server redeems the first gaming voucher and transmits a message identifying playing credit corresponding to the first monetary value represented by the first gaming voucher and the patron is enabled to play at the gaming machine/table using the identified playing credit. The system ensures that the non-cashable marker is paid back before redeeming any cashable value to the patron.

Each ring segment is retained in a run-in condition by a compression spring retained by a retainer ring held in a retainer ring groove in the respective anti-extrusion ring segments. A push ring moves the respective anti-extrusion ring segments from the run-in condition to a packer-set condition in which the anti-extrusion ring segments abut a cone frustum step of the stepped cone frustum.

In one implementation, a method of visualizing a deposit at an automated teller machine includes receiving a command to deposit at least one depository element; determining an amount associated with the command; displaying, on a transparent surface of the automated teller machine configured to allow a user of the automated teller machine to view the at least one depository element, a visual representation of the determined amount; and receiving, concurrent with or after displaying, a verification of the amount.

An indication of a process event associated with a computer-implemented process may be received. A population of subscribers subscribed to at least one property of one of the process event or the computer-implemented process may be determined. A virtual collaborative workspace for the process event may be generated, the virtual collaborative workspace operative to present context information associated with the process event to a plurality of subscribers. A message may be sent to the population of subscribers indicating the process event, the message comprising a link to access the virtual collaborative workspace. The virtual collaborative workspace may be generated for display responsive to selection of the link by the at least one of the population of subscribers.

Abstract: This disclosure relates generally to human-robot interaction (HRI) to enable a robot to execute tasks that are conveyed in a natural language. The state-of-the-art is unable to capture human intent, implicit assumptions and ambiguities present in the natural language to enable effective robotic task identification. The present disclosure provides accurate task identification using classifiers trained to understand linguistic and semantic variations. A mixed-initiative dialogue is employed to resolve ambiguities and address the dynamic nature of a typical conversation. In accordance with the present disclosure, the dialogues are minimal and directed to the goal to ensure human experience is not degraded. The method of the present disclosure is also implemented in a context sensitive manner to make the task identification effective.

Abstract: An adjustable stand that can by employed in a hydraulic fracturing system is disclosed herein. The adjustable stand preferably includes a frame, legs, clamps and a rack. The legs are connected to and support the frame. The racks are connected to the frame and extend upward from the frame and the clamps are mounted onto the racks. The legs are configured to raise and lower the frame, and the clamps are configured to be raised and lowered on the rack. The ability of the legs and the clamps to be adjusted allows the stand to be modified to support various objects and be modified to accommodate various systems.

Abstract: Exemplary embodiments relate to techniques for integrating common sense into a machine learning (ML) system. In contrast to existing machine learning algorithms that search for statistical correlations between concepts, exemplary embodiments attempt to learn the semantic relationships or causality between the concepts. This may be accomplished by training an algorithm or data structure to learn similar vector representations of words present in the same context (e.g., that are present together in the same sentence). The resulting AI/ML, structure may be used to guide the generation of a causal graph having predictive capabilities. This causal graph may represent semantic relationships and/or causation between concepts, and hence may be employed to introduce a degree of common sense in the machine learning system.
