  • Patent number: 10055990
Abstract: A computer-implemented system and method for providing available parking spaces is provided. Parking spaces are each associated with a hold time during which that parking space is held for a reserved vehicle. Shorter hold times are assigned to parking spaces associated with desirable parking variables and longer hold times are assigned to parking spaces with less desirable parking variables. A request for parking is received from a user. The hold time for each available parking space is applied to an arrival time of the user. One of the available parking spaces with the hold time greater than the user arrival time is identified. Prior to departure of the user from the available parking space, a time delay is introduced during which the available parking space occupied by the user is made available to drivers that physically approach the space upon departure of the user, and is not available for reservation.

  • Patent number: 10053741
Abstract: Provided herein are new methods, primers, and kits for genotyping HIV-1, including group M viral strains. The methods can be used for HIV-1 drug resistance surveillance and monitoring, for example in resource-poor countries. The disclosed methods can detected more mixed HIV-1 population than previous methods. Given the high efficiency in genotyping diverse HIV-1 group M viral strains from plasma and dried blood spot (DBS) samples and substantial reagent cost saving, the disclosed methods can be used for HIV-1 drug resistance genotyping in both antiretroviral therapy (ART)-naive and -experienced populations for surveillance purposes and patient monitoring.

  • Patent number: 10053937
Abstract: Certain aspects are directed to tools for setting production packers or actuating other downhole tools in response to activation signals received via an electrical control line within the wellbore. In one aspect, a downhole assembly for a wellbore is provided. The downhole assembly can include a reservoir and a pressuring module in fluid communication with the reservoir. The reservoir can contain a control fluid in communication with a fluid control path of a downhole tool. A quantity of the control fluid can be transmitted via the fluid control path for actuation of the downhole tool. The quantity of the control fluid can be controlled using a pressure change in the control fluid. The pressure change in the control fluid can be caused by the pressurizing module in response to an activation signal received by the pressurizing module via an electrical control line coupled to the pressurizing module.
