  • Publication number: 20190009208
Abstract: An Electrochemical Nitrogen Generator System and Method. The system and method provide the ability to create a nitrogen-rich environment in containers of a variety of sizes. The system and method are able to extract the oxygen from the air within the container without reducing the internal pressure substantially below atmospheric. A version of the method is provided to reduce the oxygen content and replace it with nitrogen through a series of sequential fractional steps. In another form, the system and method will provide a “streaming” approach of bleeding off oxygen-containing contents of the container, while continuously replacing it with air until such time as the percentage of oxygen within the container is below the desired level.

  • Publication number: 20190009232
Abstract: The density of slurries produced by mobile blender for injection into oil and gas wells is controlled using a microwave flow meter. Liquid having a known density is provided to the blender. The liquid is flowed through a conduit and discharged into a blending tub on the mobile blender. The amount of liquid introduced into the tub is measured with a liquid flow meter. Solid particulates having a known density are provided to the blender. The particulates are discharged into the tub by allowing them to fall into the tub from a conveyor on the mobile blender. The amount of the particulates falling into the tub are measured with a microwave flow meter. The flow of the liquid and the particulates are controlled in response to the measurements to blend a slurry having a predetermined density. The slurry is provided for injection into the well.

  • Publication number: 20190011422
Abstract: To optimize the efficiency of a perforating tool system, downhole conditions may be simulated to determine the optimal configuration for the perforating tool system. A simulated wellbore is disposed in a pressure vessel and coupled to a target composite core assembly. A perforating tool system is disposed in the simulated wellbore above the target composite core assembly. The target composite core assembly includes an outer shell. The outer shell comprises a material that supports a rubber bladder or flexible jacket that is disposed about the outer shell. The outer shell isolates the overburden fluid and pressure from the inner core during a radial flow test to more accurately simulate conditions downhole. A parameter of a perforating tool system may be altered based, at least in part, on a result from the radial flow test.

  • Publication number: 20190008209
Abstract: Systems, devices, and methods may control total particulate matter (TPM) production based on air flow rate and TPM density. TPM density is a TPM production rate per flow rate of gas through an aerosol-generating device. The systems, devices, and methods may measure, or sample, air flow during a puff or draw on an aerosol-generating device. The aerosol-generating device may, in turn, adjust the production of the TPM based on the measured air flow rate and a selected, or desired, TPM density, which may be pre-set in the device and/or subsequently set as desired.

  • Publication number: 20190008475
Abstract: Identification of pulmonary diseases involves accurate auscultation as well as elaborate and expensive pulmonary function tests. Also, there is a dependency on a reference signal from a flowmeter or need for labelled respiratory phases. The present disclosure provides extraction of frequency and time-frequency domain lung sound features such as spectral and spectrogram features respectively that enable classification of healthy and abnormal lung sounds without the dependencies of prior art. Furthermore extraction of wavelet and cepstral features improves accuracy of classification. The lung sound signals are pre-processed prior to feature extraction to eliminate heart sounds and reduce computational requirements while ensuring that information providing adequate discrimination between healthy and abnormal lung sounds is not lost.

Abstract: Provided herein a vacuum cleaner capable of effectively escaping from a situation where driving wheels are in an idling state. The vacuum cleaner includes a main casing, driving wheels, a control unit and an idling detection part. The driving wheels enable the main casing to travel. The control unit controls the driving of the driving wheels to make the main casing autonomously travel. The idling detection part detects that the driving wheels are in an idling state. In the case where the idling detection part detects that the driving wheels are in an idling state, the control unit controls the operation of the driving wheels so as to, after the operation to make the main casing retreat by a certain distance, repeat consecutively for a plurality of times the operation to make the main casing turn in a specified one direction and advance by a specified distance.
