    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure relate to precise position determination for the downhole placement and position of the tubing-side portion of a behind-casing measurement system. The position determination can be used to establish precise alignment of the system and thus prevent signal loss. A system according to some aspects includes a casing-side antenna mountable between a well casing and a formation wall and a processing device connected to the casing-side antenna. The processing device is operable to measure signal intensities for a signal received from at least one tubing-side antenna, calculate a position of the tubing-side antenna relative to the casing-side antenna based on the signal intensities, and transmit the position to the surface.

    Abstract: Crop loss estimation allows a user to monitor and estimate damage to the crops due to various natural events/factors. State of the art systems used for the crop loss estimation have the disadvantage that they do not convey to the users extent of damage. In addition to this, the existing methods do not take into account the recovery factor of the crops due to multiple factors and end up in overestimating the loss. The disclosure herein generally relates to crop monitoring, and, more particularly, to a method and system for crop loss estimation. In this method, crop loss is assessed based on real-time weather parameters and remote sensing data collected and processed, and crops are classified as being in one of a repairable damage class and a permanent damage class. The system also quantifies the crop loss, which allows the user to understand magnitude of the crop loss.

    Abstract: Abstract interpretation based static analysis tools use relational/non-relational abstract domains to verify program properties. Precision and scalability of analysis vary basis usage of abstract domains. K-limited path-sensitive interval domain is an abstract domain that was conventionally proposed for analysis on industry strength programs. The domain maintains variables' intervals along a configurable K subsets of paths at each program point, which implicitly provides co-relation among variables. When the number of paths at the join point exceeds K, set of paths are partitioned into K subsets, arbitrarily, which results in loss of precision required to verify program properties. To address the above problem, embodiments of the present disclosure provide selective merging of paths in such a way that the intervals computed help verifying more properties.

    Abstract: This disclosure relates generally to a method and a system for determining quality of PPG signal. The PPG signals are extensively used for deducing health parameters of patients to infer the physiological conditions of heart, blood pressure, breathing patterns of the patients. However, analysis based on PPG signals is extremely challenging and is accurate only on high quality PPG signals. However, the existing techniques for determining quality of PPG signal (that are collected using wearable devices) require huge training or use complicated algorithms and cannot be used for real-time analysis. The disclosed methods and system for PPG quality assessment is based on the frequency domain analysis, wherein heart and respiratory components in the frequency spectrum are used effectively to derive the quality checker metric which is further used to estimate a plurality of optimal thresholds that is used for determining the quality of PPG signals at real-time.
