Abstract: Systems and methods for performing a transaction with a headless point-of-sale or automated teller machine (ATM) device are disclosed using a card having a second communications path to a financial services provider. A card having a display and radio frequency (RF) communications module may be authenticated with a headless point-of-sale device using a short-range RF communications link. Characteristics of the card may be set prior to the transaction. Transaction information may be provided to the display of the card from the headless point-of-sale device. A customer may confirm the transaction at the card using a touch-sensitive input area. During the processing, a communication may be made over the second communications path to authorize the transaction independently of the transaction processing path. A transaction may then be completed at the headless point-of-sale device.

Abstract: Systems and methods of the present disclosure processors and devices for providing disposable account cards using a contactless reader and contactless communication tag. A processor receives, via an antenna module from the contactless reader, radio signal data of a radio signal emitted by a contactless tag, where the radio signal data includes encoded tag data including a tag identifier. The processor determines that the contactless tag is a new contactless tag based on the tag identifier being unlinked to any account, and generates a disposable account card identifier in a user account including a unique disposable account number. The processor generates an account link that links the tag identifier to the disposable account card identifier such that the tag identifier refers to the unique disposable account number for performing contactless electronic requests to the user account in place of a user account card.

Abstract: A device receives first transaction information associated with a first transaction, and a first transaction account utilized for the first transaction and associated with a first financial institution. The device determines, based on a fraud model, that the first transaction is to be denied due to potential fraud associated with the first transaction account and receives second transaction information associated with a second transaction, and a second transaction account utilized for the second transaction and associated with a second financial institution. The device processes the first transaction information and the second transaction information, with a matching model, to determine whether the first transaction information matches the second transaction information and determines that the first transaction was incorrectly denied when the first transaction information matches the second transaction information within a predetermined threshold.

Abstract: A method of communication along a shared voltage line is disclosed. In pulse power drilling, a generator charges applies voltage to a shared voltage line, which capacitively charges electrodes for formation drilling. While the generator controls the charging rate, charge voltage, and post-delay time between the charging cycles, a pulse power controller determines the pre-delay time by firing electrodes to discharge the stored voltage. Communication from the pulse power controller to the generator is encoded in the pre-delay time, where pre-delay times longer than a minimum pre-delay time correspond to time bins with pre-determined communications between the pulse power controller and the generator. The generator can also communicate to the pulse power controller via manipulation of the post-delay time.
