  • Patent number: 11297248
Abstract: A user device may capture a plurality of preview images that each include image data. The user device may process, in substantially real-time, a preview image to identify an object in the preview image, including determining an outline of the object. The user device may create a mask that hides a portion of the image data associated with an area outside of the outline of the object in one or more of the preview images. Based on determining that a parameter associated with glare of the object in the preview images does not satisfy a threshold, the user device may provide, in substantially real-time, feedback to a user, including an instruction to the user to perform an action with respect to the user device or to the object, and, based on determining that the parameter satisfies the threshold, the user device may automatically capture an image of the object.

  • Patent number: 11293229
Abstract: The disclosed embodiments include systems and methods to improve downhole drilling. A representative system may include a geostationary portion (e.g. a valve assembly) and a turbine coupled to the geostationary portion to cause counter-rotation of the geostationary portion relative to a drillstring in a default state. A generator that is also operable to act as a motor is coupled to the turbine, and is also coupled to a controller and an energy that may harness any excess energy generated by the turbine when the turbine is able to counter-rotate the geostationary portion at a faster rate than needed to maintain the geostationary portion in a rotationally static condition relative to the wellbore.

  • Patent number: 11294940
Abstract: The present disclosure provides methods and systems for automated identification of agro-climatic zones. The methods deal with receiving parameters pertaining to ambience and soil from various external systems for a geographical region via one or more interaction methods. The parameters may be raw data or derived from raw data, homogenized and stored in a generic and hierarchical format for easy consumption. Inference is drawn from the parameters and associated attributes by comparing with historic attributes available in a knowledge base module for a corresponding agro-climatic zone. Inferences may also be made from parameters available in encoded form such as images, videos and ontological knowledge. Based on the comparison, a score is generated that reflects the degree of compliance with pre-defined agro-climatic zones.

  • Patent number: 11293239
Abstract: Apparatuses and methods measure a specified volume of a drilling fluid for a test sample. An electrical parameter of the test sample is measured; and a chemical formulated to effect a change in the electrical parameter of the test sample is added in known increments. After each incremental addition of the chemical, the electrical parameter of the test sample is measured to determine if the electrical parameter measurement is at a stable value. When the electrical parameter measurement is at a stable value, the electrical parameter is correlated with an amount of water in the drilling fluid.
