Abstract: A method of fabricating a removable mandrel for use in filament winding a container, includes the steps of providing and inflating an internal bladder. A dry 3-D fabric layer of a given thickness is layed-up about the inflated bladder. An external vacuum/pressure bag is installed about the dry fabric layer. The dry 3-D fabric layer is impregnated with a liquid soluble resin between the internal bladder and the external bag. The resin then is cured to rigidify the fabric layer to form a mandrel structure. The container then can be wound on the mandrel formed by the cured and rigidified fabric layer, and the resin can be subsequently washed out to remove the fabric layer.
Abstract: A method of fabricating a filament wound container includes providing a mandrel for winding a filament composite structure of a given thickness and having a closed end. The closed end is removed from the remainder of the composite structure, and the mandrel then is removed from the composite structure. A replacement closed-end member is positioned on the composite structure at the location of the removed closed end. The replaced closed-end member may be the original removed closed end. An overwrap thickness is filament wound about at least a portion of the composite structure and the replaced closed-end member.
Abstract: A double pane window has a blind between the window panes. The interior window pane is in a housing that can be removed from the window frame. A cord guide is provided in the top edge of the housing. The cord guide has a lift cord slot and a tilt cord slot. The blind has at least one lift cord which passes through the lift cord slot and at least one tilt cord which passes through the tilt cord slot. The blind can be raised, lowered and tilted while maintaining a seal between the window frame and the window panes.

Abstract: A sun shield for covering a plurality of windows defining at least one substantial angle. The sun shield has a flexible frame which is easily collapsible for storage. Encompassing upon the frame is an opaque flexible material which blocks sunlight. Coupled to the flexible material encompassing the frame is a flexible flap which can shield windows defining a substantial angle with a window shield by the defined frame and encompassing material.
Abstract: The present invention is a sun shield assembly that has a suction cup which can attach the shield to the windshield of an automobile. The shade has a flexible opaque sheet that is attached to a flexible frame. The frame is constructed to be folded and twisted into a plurality of concentric loops that can be placed in a pouch for storage.
Abstract: A hat shaped cover for a steering wheel. The hat has a brim that extends from a crown. The crown has an inner compartment which allows the user to store and carry items therein. The hat shaped wheel cover also has a pair of straps that allow the user to carry the cover like a backpack. The straps are adjustable and adapted to be placed around the steering wheel so that the crown can cover the wheel to protect the same from sunlight and heat. The hat shaped cover has a removable lid that allows the end user to insert an inner-tube into the inner crown compartment and wear the cover as a hat.
Abstract: An insulated cooler which can be mounted to the floor of an automobile and provides access to open beverage containers. The cooler includes an insulated box which has a front wall separated from a back wall by a pair of side walls. The front, back and side walls are attached to a bottom wall that together define an inner cavity. The insulated cooler also has a top cover adapted to enclose the inner cavity of the box. The insulated box is small enough to be placed between the driver and front passenger of an automobile. The cooler has a strip of hook and loop material which can secure the bottom wall of the box to the carpet of the car. Additionally, the top cover has a pair of apertures adapted to receive beverage containers. The apertures may be covered by a flap which can be fastened to either the front or back walls of the box.
Abstract: A window shade that can be applied to the rear window of an automobile by a pair of suction cups. The window shade includes a pair of shades that can be pulled from a rod. The suction cups are connected to the rod by brackets that are pivotally connected to corresponding rod clamps. The suction cups are screwed into the brackets and can be adjusted to any window shape. The clamps can slide along the length of the rod. Having a pair of pivoting adjustable cups along with a pair of corresponding sliding clamps, provides a window shade that can be mounted to a variety of different window sizes and shapes.
Abstract: A protective cover for the windshield of an automobile. The cover has a pair of flaps that extend from a center cover section. The center cover section has an area that can cover most conventional windshields. The center section is placed over the windshield and the flaps are wrapped around to the side windows of the car. The flaps each have suction cups that secure the cover to the vehicle. The flaps and center section can be folded into a pouch that is secured in the folded position by a zipper that is attached to the center section and a pouch member which extends from the center portion of the sheet.
Abstract: A pocketbook size organizer that can store a portable cellular phone. The organizer comprises a flexible book which has a first cover portion that can fold onto a center cover portion and a second cover portion that folds onto the first cover portion. The book has hook and loop material that fastens the second cover to the first cover to secure the organizer in a folded condition. The inside of the first cover has a pair of straps that secure the portable phone to the book. The straps are attached together by hook and loop material which allows the organizer to carry phones having different outer dimensions. The book also contains a pocket which can receive a calculator and a slit that can capture a note pad. The organizer can be carried by a handle which is attached to the book and has a free end that can be coupled to the outer surface of the center cover by hook and loop material.
Abstract: An improved portable cooler that is a collapsible, portable, multiple use insulated bag with a companion detachable multiple use bag for use in transporting and storing items especially those items commonly used while driving an automobile. The bag may be used to carry cassettes which are then insulated from outside heat as well as beverage containers such as in aluminum cans that are thus maintained at a cooler temperature. The bag is especially convenient for placing on the center console of automobiles that have such space on the floor.
