    Abstract: An application of thiolated single-stranded DNA enhances specific amplification of polymerase chain reaction, namely a method for enhancing specific amplification of polymerase chain reaction by utilizing thiolated single-stranded DNA, which includes the following step: adding an appropriate amount of the thiolated single-stranded DNA into a PCR system to perform PCR amplification, wherein the appropriate amount means that the final concentration of the thiolated single-stranded DNA in a 20 ?L reaction system is not less than 15 ?M. The thiolated single-stranded DNA meets the following conditions: the thiolated single-stranded DNA is one segment of any sequence which is non-complementary and non-homologous to a target sequence; the Tm value is not less than 37.7° C.; and at least one end contains a thiolalkyl group SH—C6H12—.

    Abstract: A method for increasing the yield of total flavonoids in Ganoderma lucidum mycelium by an expansin comprises: (1) inoculating Ganoderma lucidum into the PD liquid fermentation medium, activating the culturing of the strains and obtaining a seed solution; (2) inoculating the seed solution into a liquid fermentation medium, culturing and adding the expansin solution, then further culturing, isolating and obtaining Ganoderma lucidum mycelium; (3) extracting flavonoids from the Ganoderma lucidum mycelium and obtaining total flavonoids. A plant expansin is used for the liquid fermentation production of flavonoids ingredients of Ganoderma lucidum, and the fermentation process and extraction method are optimized to increase greatly the yield of total flavonoids in Ganoderma lucidum.

    Abstract: A method for producing laccase by liquid fermentation of Lentinus edodes comprises the following steps of: (1) inoculating strains of Lentinus edodes into the PD liquid fermentation medium to perform activation culture and obtain a seed liquid; (2) inoculating the seed solution into a liquid fermentation medium to perform liquid fermentation culture, then adding an expansin solution to perform further culture, separating the supernatant to obtain a ferment solution; (3) extracting laccase from the ferment solution. A plant expansin and an optimized fermentation method are applied for producing laccase by liquid fermentation of Lentinus edodes, which increases the liquid fermentation output of laccase of Lentinus edodes remarkably, by more than 3 times in comparing with traditional fermentation production methods.

    Abstract: A BrTCP24 gene for controlling the growth of Chinese cabbage and its applications. The BrTCP24 gene has the nucleotide sequence shown in SEQ ID No. 1, the whole length of which is 1221 bp. The gene is useful for improving the production of economic crop. As indicated by experimental results, the gene serves as a controlling gene for plant growth and has the function of down-regulating the plant growth. Through overexpressing the gene, a transgenic plant smaller than the wild one can be obtained. The gene of the invention can provide theory basis and gene source for breeding new varieties of crops.
