  • Patent number: 7283511
Abstract: A method is proposed for operating a mobile radio network, which permits an error-free exchange of packet data units in the event of a connection change between a mobile unit and superordinate network units. In this regard, useful data is transmitted between the mobile unit and a first radio base station, the useful data being combined to form packet data units prior to its transmission. For the transmission of the packet data units, transmission-specific information describing an instantaneous state of the transmission is stored both in the mobile unit and in a first network unit superordinate to the first radio base station.

  • Patent number: 7273503
Abstract: A lithium polymer secondary cell having a negative electrode, a positive electrode and, arranged between the electrodes, a polymer electrolyte layer, characterized in that the cell has been subjected to a heat treatment at a temperature of 40 to 60° C. after the assembly thereof. The polymer cell is freed of or is reduced in the adverse effect of a residual monomer and initiator on the performance of the cell. The polymer electrolyte is formed by cross-linking polymerization of a precursor monomer for an ion conducting polymer in a non-aqueous electrolyte, and the residual monomer and initiator contained therein is consumed by the heat treatment.

  • Patent number: 7268025
Abstract: A pixel structure and a fabricating method thereof are described. The method comprises forming a conductive layer, a data line and a source/drain at the same time. The conductive layer has a coupling portion and a connecting portion. The coupling portion is used as a top electrode of a pixel storage capacitor, and the connecting portion connects the coupling portion and the drain. Thereafter, a contact window is defined on the connecting portion, and a pixel electrode formed subsequently can be electrically connected to the connecting portion through the contact window. Thus, the pixel electrode, the conductive layer (includes the coupling portion) and the drain are electrically connected each other. Since the contact window is not formed above the pixel storage capacitor, the leakage of the pixel storage capacitor will not occur when the etching process of the contact window etches away the gate insulating layer.

  • Patent number: 7058770
Abstract: A recording area of a hard disk is managed by units. Each unit comprises physically continuous recording regions having predetermined size, and usage status of the unit is stored in an allocation unit (AU) management table. Data requiring a real time processing is stored in each unit. When the usage status of the unit is changed or modified due to the recording or deletion of data, the AU management table is updated and then information indicative of the fact that the AU management table has been updated is recorded. An apparatus where the final change is made is detected at the time the hard disk is inserted or a file system is initialized. And if the apparatus which last made the change adopts the file system which does not use the AU management table, then the table is reconfigured so as to retain the consistency of the AU management table.

  • Patent number: 7006064
Abstract: A common electrode driving circuit is provided on a TFT substrate as a first substrate. Striped common electrodes are formed along the layout of pixels, such as data lines (or scanning lines), on a common substrate as a second substrate. The common electrode driving circuit inverts a common electrode voltage that is applied to a common electrode of an odd-number order, relative to a common electrode voltage that is applied to a common electrode of an even-number order. The common electrode driving circuit inverts these common electrode voltages to match the polarity inversion period at the same time. Based on this, a common inversion driving system is realized, and flicker is reduced according to a lengthwise line (or crosswise line) inversion driving system.

  • Publication number: 20050269572
Abstract: A polysilicon film is formed in a predetermined region on a glass substrate, and then a gate insulating film and a gate electrode, whose width is narrower than the gate insulating film, are formed thereon. Then, an interlayer insulating film and an ITO film are formed on an overall surface. Then, n-type source/drain regions having an LDD structure are formed by implanting the n-type impurity into the polysilicon film. Then, an n-type TFT forming region and a pixel-electrode forming region are covered with a resist film, and then p-type source/drain regions are formed by implanting the p-type impurity into the polysilicon film in a p-type TFT forming region. Then, the resist film is left only in the pixel-electrode forming region and the resist film is removed from other regions. A pixel electrode is formed by etching the ITO film while using the remaining resist film as a mask.

  • Publication number: 20050270448
Abstract: The gate bus lines, the data bus lines, TFTs, etc. are formed on one glass substrate. Also, linear structures arranged in parallel with the gate bus lines are formed simultaneously with any one of the gate bus lines and the data bus lines. Then, a positive resist film is formed over the substrate, and then only a surface layer is cured by irradiating the ultraviolet ray onto the resist film. Then, the annealing is applied to the resist film. Since the linear structures are present under the resist film, a cross section of the resist film is corrugated by the annealing and thus wrinkle-like roughness extending in the almost same direction as the structures are formed on the surface. Then, the reflective electrode is formed on the resist film.
