  • Patent number: 8203747
Abstract: Aspects of the present invention relate to systems and methods for generating rendered data for printing. According to a first aspect of the present invention, a master stencil may be formed from individual print-object stencils. The master stencil may provide a mapping such that rendered print data may be generated at a pixel without multiple renditions at each pixel for each print object. According to a second aspect of the present invention, the master stencil may provide a mapping such that processing operations may be minimized at each pixel. According to a third aspect of the present invention, individual print-object stencils may be processed serially at each line, or spatial portion. Print-object stencils may be processed in z-order for each line, or spatial portion, and pixels which overlap multiple print objects may be overwritten. According to another aspect of the present invention, a master stencil may be generated while rendering print data.

  • Patent number: 8205235
Abstract: Systems and methods for representing a tuner device in a content directory service that is implemented in a media server are disclosed. An exemplary method involves representing a tuner as a tuner container. A broadcast channel which is accessible to the tuner is represented as a broadcast item within the tuner container. The exemplary method also involves exposing the broadcast item within the tuner container as an object for browsing by a control point. Information about the broadcast item may be sent to the control point in response to a browse request. A connection may be established with a media renderer for transmission of content from the broadcast channel to the media renderer.

  • Publication number: 20120140649
Abstract: A method for reporting uplink control information (UCI) on a user equipment (UE) is described. Multiple channel state information (CSI) reports are generated for multiple component carriers (CCs) that are scheduled to be transmitted in a subframe. A method of prioritization for the CSI reports is selected. A highest priority CSI report of the multiple CSI reports is determined using the selected method of prioritization. The highest priority CSI report is transmitted.

  • Publication number: 20120140708
Abstract: A method for reporting uplink control information (UCI) on a user equipment (UE) is described. A collision of multiple channel state information (CSI) reports corresponding to multiple component carriers (CCs) that are scheduled to be reported in the same subframe is detected. A highest priority CSI report of the multiple CSI reports is determined using a prioritization scheme. The highest priority CSI report is transmitted.

  • Patent number: 8184305
Abstract: The present invention, as evidenced from the drawings and descriptions provided herein, can be characterized in various, different, through unifying, ways. For example, from a methodologic point of view, the invention may be seen as providing a method which (1) procedurally engages a PDF data stream that is en route to printing, (2) determines whether, in that data stream, there is an image-only data file, and (3), if the answer to that determination is Yes, channels that data file into a novel PDF image-only pipeline for expedited pre-printing preparation (image decoding, resizing, rendering, etc.). From a systemic point of view, the invention proposes an interactive and cooperative assembly of structures, as illustrated in the drawing figures, which are constructed specifically to perform the methodologic functions just described.

  • Publication number: 20120120817
Abstract: A method for reporting uplink control information (UCI) by a user equipment (UE) is described. Downlink channels are measured to obtain channel state information (CSI). Radio resource control (RRC) signaling is received from an eNode B. It is determined whether simultaneous physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) and physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmission is enabled. One or more CSI reports are transmitted on the PUSCH according to the RRC signaling.
