Abstract: A user equipment (UE) receiving, from a base station (BS), a higher layer signal including first information used for configuring more than one sets of one or more downlink component carriers (DCCs). The UE receives, using a PDCCH in a first subframe, from the BS, downlink control information (DCI) including second information indicating a trigger for a transmission of channel state information (CSI), the transmission of the CSI being triggered for one set of the more than one sets of one or more DCCs, the DCI being used for scheduling of a PUSCH in one uplink component carrier. The UE transmits, using the PUSCH in a second subframe, to the BS, the CSI for the one set of the more than one sets of one or more DCCs in a case that the DCI including the second information indicating the trigger for the transmission of the CSI is received.
Abstract: A wireless communication system in which a first base station apparatus and a second base station apparatus communicate with a terminal apparatus. The first base station apparatus transmits, to the terminal apparatus, data control information related to data transmission and reception of the terminal apparatus and preferential base station apparatus information indicating a priority of data transmission to the base station apparatus, and the terminal apparatus determines any base station apparatus of the first base station apparatus and the second base station apparatus, as a data transmission destination base station apparatus, for data to which bearer split is configured by the data control information, based on at least one of the preferential base station apparatus information and terminal information of the terminal apparatus.
Abstract: In a communication system, an image forming apparatus sends an address of a receiving section to an external device. The external device receives a selection of image data through plural thumbnails displayed on a display section, and wirelessly sends the selected image data to the image forming apparatus with the address. The image forming apparatus receives the selected image data and prints an image. The image forming apparatus accepts a selection indicating whether a communication between the external device and the image forming apparatus is performed either by a first or second communication system method. The image forming apparatus performs sending and/or receiving the image data with the address by the first communication system method when the first communication system method is selected, and performs sending and/or receiving the image data with the address by the second communication system method when the second communication system method is selected.
Abstract: The occurrence of a color irregularity in light that is emitted from a light-emitting device is suppressed together with being able to prevent a decline in the utilization efficiency of excitation light. A light-emitting device is provided with a phosphor section that absorbs excitation light and emits first fluorescence, and a phosphor section that absorbs excitation light that has passed through the phosphor section without being converted into first fluorescence by the phosphor section and emits second fluorescence. Also, the peak wavelength of the second fluorescence is approximate to the peak wavelength of the excitation light.
Abstract: In its many embodiments, the present invention provides certain C-6 spirocarbocyclic iminothiadiazine compounds, including compounds Formula (I): or a tautomers thereof, and pharmaceutically acceptable salts of said compounds and said tautomers, wherein R1, R4, ring A, RA, m, L1, and RL are as defined herein. The novel compounds of the invention are useful as BACE inhibitors and/or for the treatment and prevention of various pathologies related thereto. Pharmaceutical compositions comprising one or more such compounds (alone and in combination with one or more other active agents), and methods for their preparation and use, including for the possible treatment of Alzheimer's disease, are also disclosed.

Abstract: A light-emitting device capable of ensuring an electric connection between a light-emitting element and an electrode without generating any problem in practical use, by both connecting methods with a solder and a connector, and a lighting device provided with the light-emitting device are provided. The light-emitting device according to the present invention has a plurality of LED chips, and a soldering electrode land and a connector connecting electrode land electrically connected to the chips, on a ceramic substrate. The soldering electrode land is formed of a first conductive material having a function to prevent diffusion to a solder, and the connector connecting electrode land is formed of a second conductive material having a function to prevent oxidation.
