Abstract: A wireless communication system includes a base station apparatus having a plurality of antennas and a plurality of mobile station apparatuses each having, at least, one antenna. The base station apparatus acquires channel state information of the plurality of mobile station apparatuses, based on any one of a plurality of different channel state information formats, and, separately precodes data signals addressed to the plurality of mobile station apparatuses based on the channel state information, and spatially multiplexes and transmits the precoded signals. The mobile station apparatus receives the precoded signals and detects a desired data signal from the multiplexed signals addressed to mobile station apparatuses, based on the channel state information.

  • Publication number: 20130286940
Abstract: A wireless communication system in which a base station apparatus having a plurality of transmission antennas and one or more terminal apparatuses communicate with each other is provided with at least two methods of a first feedback method and a second feedback method regarding propagation path information at the time of reception. In accordance with a communication condition between the base station apparatus and the terminal apparatus, or the function of the terminal apparatus, the terminal apparatus performs feedback by one of the two methods of the first feedback method and the second feedback method. The base station apparatus performs spatial multiplexing transmission on the basis of the propagation path information that has been fed back. Thus, in a system in which CSI is fed back for MIMO transmission, desired transmission characteristics can be efficiently obtained.

Abstract: A liquid crystal display devices (1a, 1b) each include a touch panel (2), a liquid crystal panel (3), a touch panel controller (4), a liquid crystal driving controller (timing generator) (5), oscillation circuits (7a, 7b), a correcting circuit (10), and a frequency counter (11). The frequency counter (11) counts a reference clock signal CLK supplied from the oscillation circuit (7a) or (7b). The correcting circuit (10) determines, in accordance with information supplied from the frequency counter (11), whether or not a frequency of the reference clock signal CLK is a predetermined frequency. In a case where the frequency of the reference clock signal CLK is not the predetermined frequency, the correcting circuit (10) corrects (i) a frequency at which the liquid crystal panel (3) is driven or (ii) a frequency at which sensing of the touch panel (2) is carried out.

  • Patent number: 8569147
Abstract: A plurality of light-shielding films etc. are formed on a surface of a first insulating film. Then, a dummy pattern is formed on a surface of a second insulating film between adjoining ones of the light-shielding films etc., so that a height of the dummy pattern is equal to that of the second insulating film on the light-shielding films etc., as measured from the surface of the first insulating film. Thereafter, a third insulating film covering the dummy pattern and having a flat surface is formed over the surface of the second insulating film. Subsequently, a base layer is bonded to a support substrate so that the flat surface of the third insulating film faces the support substrate. A semiconductor device is manufactured in this manner.
