Abstract: A base-station apparatus (101) and a terminal apparatus (102) communicate with each other in a communication system. When reporting reception quality information together with data to the base-station apparatus via a channel for use in data transmission, the terminal apparatus reports the reception quality information using a spatial multiplexing method identical to a spatial multiplexing method of the data if the reception quality information is reception quality information that is to be nonoperiodically reported, and reports the reception quality information using a spatial multiplexing method independent of the spatial multiplexing method of the data if the reception quality information is reception quality information that is to be periodically reported.
Abstract: A solar cell module according to an aspect of the present invention includes a light guide module including a first light guide and a second light guide that are disposed so as to face each other and a low-refractive-index layer that is disposed between the first light guide and the second light guide; and a solar cell that receives light emitted from the light guide module. A second main surface of the first light guide includes a first reflecting surface that reflects the first light beam and changes a propagation direction of the first light beam, which has entered through the first main surface of the first light guide.
Abstract: This invention relates to methods for evaluating the efficacy of an IGF1R inhibitor, such as an anti-IGF1R antibody, for the treatment of an Ewing's sarcoma tumor by determining the level of tumoral glucose metabolism. Tumoral glucose metabolism is determining at an early point in the treatment regimen by any of several methods known in the art including FDG-PET/CT scan.

Abstract: A wiring substrate of the present invention has, on a first dummy wiring disposing section (105a) in a first lead-out wiring section (105), a dummy wiring line (2) that is formed of a light-shielding metal in positions that correspond to a front and a rear of a bent portion (10) of a wiring line (1) by having an insulating layer therebetween. As a result, sufficient countermeasures against disconnection of the wiring line (1) are taken in the first lead-out wiring section, and a sufficient aperture ratio for seal curing with UV radiation can be ensured.

Abstract: A User Equipment (UE) for sending Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request (HARQ) information is described. The UE includes a processor and instructions stored in memory that is in electronic communication with the processor. The UE determines a primary cell (PCell) configuration. The UE also determines a secondary cell (SCell) configuration. The UE further determines whether the PCell configuration specifies uplink (UL) and the SCell configuration specifies downlink (DL) for a subframe or whether the PCell configuration specifies DL and the SCell configuration specifies DL for the subframe. The UE additionally determines a HARQ Acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) reporting subframe based on the PCell configuration if the PCell configuration specifies DL and the SCell configuration specifies DL for the subframe. The UE also sends SCell Physical Downlink Shared Channel (PDSCH) HARQ-ACK information in the HARQ-ACK reporting subframe.

Abstract: In a codebook-based closed loop type MIMO, improvement for complexity in a mobile station apparatus, and reduction of amount of overhead needed for notification from the mobile station apparatus should be provided. A wireless transmission apparatus that includes a plurality of transmission antennas, performs precoding on a data signal for each of a plurality of reception apparatuses and spatially multiplexes and transmits the signal after the precoding. The wireless transmission apparatus performs sharing a codebook describing a plurality of linear filters associated with each other is shared with the each reception apparatus, and precoding on the data signal for each reception apparatus, based on a first linear filter that is extracted from the codebook in each reception apparatus based on the association and that is notified from each reception apparatus.

Abstract: The present invention provides genetic markers on human chromosome 19 that are associated with a beneficial response to interferon alpha (IFN-?). These IFN-? response markers are useful, inter alia, to identify patients who are most likely to benefit from treatment with IFN-? pharmaceutical compositions and drug products, in methods of treating patients having a disease susceptible to treatment with an IFN-?, and in methods for selecting the most appropriate therapy for such patients.
