  • Patent number: 9491980
Abstract: A latching mechanism including a pedestal provided with a first hole on the surface, a second member provided with a second hole opened at a position overlapping with the first hole, and a fastening member whose one end part is inserted into and pulled from the first hole through the second hole, so that the second member is engaged with the pedestal in an attachable and detachable manner. In the mechanism, the fastening member is inserted through the second hole into the first hole and then rotated such that an outer shape of the one end part intersects with one of the first hole and the second hole so that the second member is mounted onto the pedestal, and then it is rotated further or reversely so that the second member is separated from the pedestal.

  • Patent number: 9075479
Abstract: There is a conventional input device wherein a blind operation is easy because a touch panel type operation unit and a display unit are separately arranged at locations distant from each other, but such a conventional input device requires a camera for photographing a user's hand on the operation unit, and image processing for converting the photographed image of the hand and combining the image on the display unit, and thus, simplification of the processing method has been desired. Further, reducing the number of components used for such a device has been desired.

  • Patent number: 9032548
Abstract: In this invention, a visor is configured to be inserted into a slit of a movable plate. One of an engaging projecting portion and an engaging concave portion is provided on the visor, and the other is provided on the movable plate. When the visor pivots in a first direction about the engaging projecting portion, a concave corner portion of the visor comes into contact with a first position regulating portion of the movable plate, thereby impeding the pivotal movement of the visor. When the visor pivots in a second direction, the outer wall surface of the visor comes into contact with wall portions of the movable plate, thereby impeding the pivotal movement of the visor.

  • Publication number: 20150000012
Abstract: A helmet which performs good ventilation and which is capable of mitigating the uncomfortable feeling due to the sound is provided. The shock absorbing liner includes front ventilation holes to communicatively connect the front openings to the inside of the shock absorbing liner, outside air paths disposed in a space on an outer side relative to an inner surface of the shock absorbing liner, and communicative holes to communicatively connect the inside of the shock absorbing liner to the outside air paths. The outside air paths include primary flow paths disposed to be connected to the rear opening and secondary flow paths. The communicative holes communicatively connects positions on an outer surface of the shock absorbing liner except positions of the primary flow paths, to the inside of the shock absorbing liner. The secondary flow paths are disposed to connect the communicative holes to the primary flow paths.

  • Patent number: 8869354
Abstract: Provided is a ratchet buckle for helmets wherein an engagement/releasing member having an engagement part is assembled to the buckle, via a pin, between the base member and operating member, and therefore when the operating member is pulled up and rotated in the counterclockwise direction, the front end of the operating member contacts the front end of the engagement/releasing member and the engagement with the tab of the ratchet is released by rotation of the engagement part of the engagement/releasing member, and because the engagement is released by pulling up the operating member by at least twice the conventional pull-up distance, the helmet will not come off from the head as a result of a wrong or inadvertent lever operation and thus safety can be ensured, while the thickness of the ratchet buckle can be kept small.
