Abstract: A sieve belt formed of a multiplicity of helices of thermosettable synthetic resin monofilament. Adjacent helices are meshed together so that overlapping windings form a channel through which a pintle-filament is passed. The helices are free of bias and torsion both before and after being assembled in the belt. After assembly the belt is stretched longitudinally and thermoset, causing the helix windings to penetrate slightly into the pintle-filament to tightly surround it with line contact, and to flatten the long legs of the oval windings between pintle-filaments.
Abstract: The sieve belt is comprised of a multiplicity of helices made of thermosettable synthetic resin material which are interlocked with each other by inserting a plurality of pintle wires into the channels defined by the overlapping helices. For controlling the air permeability of the sieve belt, the hollow interiors of the helices are filled with a filler material comprised of crimped synthetic filaments.

Abstract: A screening machine in which screens or portions of screens of elastic material and having substantially the shape of conical frustums are arranged one below the other. The circular edges of the screens are supported by holders which are mounted to a rotating shaft by means of bearings. The bearings of alternate holders being mounted on eccentric crank pins to drive such holders, without their rotating, in a substantially circular horizontal oscillatory motion to impart to each screen a rapid vibratory motion in which every section thereof participates. The vibratory motion results from a portion moving into and out of tension in conjunction with the rotation of eccentric crank pins.
Abstract: A vibratory centrifuge for the dewatering of coal sludge, washed small coal or slack which comprises a revolvable conical screen which has a diameter that increases towards its discharge end. The conical screen is vibratable in an axial direction and includes radial steps each having a height of at least 20 mm to rearrangement or loosen the material in the zone of each step.
Abstract: A two-stage pusher centrifuge with a pusher bottom and an axially displaceable cylindrical inner drum which serves as pusher element for a subsequent outer drum which is cylindrical within the pusher region. That cylindrical section of the outer drum which is located in the pusher region is followed by a conically widening section conically widening toward the open drum end.
