  • Patent number: 10077662
Abstract: A rotor for a thermal turbomachine, in particular a gas turbine, is designed to conduct a medium, such as compressor air, in the interior of the gas turbine. In order to conduct the medium in the interior with low flow losses and at the same time to specify a rotor that can be produced comparatively simply and economically, a separately produced blade wheel is arranged between the mutually adjacent hub regions of the two rotor discs. The first side of said blade wheel lies against the hub region of the second rotor disc and the second side opposite the first side has a number of ribs, which extend from radially outside to radially inside.

  • Patent number: 10025298
Abstract: Technical installation data are visually preprocessed in a targeted manner in a control room or on a tablet with a touchscreen in mobile use by presenting a priority matrix. For this purpose, the interference messages are sorted, for example, horizontally with descending priority from left to right and vertically according to the installation part and are output. This largely relieves an operator of analysis and prioritization of the interference messages. The operator can therefore identify, locate and eliminate the most important interference messages in a shorter time. The number of priorities and installation parts considered is flexible since the matrix can be scaled to a wide variety of installation types, installation sizes and processes. All technical installation data relevant to assessing the situation are combined in one view. A second display area with a logical view is used to provide an overview of the complete industrial installation.

  • Publication number: 20170298782
Abstract: A system and method for increasing the responsiveness of a duct fired, combined cycle power generation plant (12) via operating one or more gas turbine engines (14) at a part load condition less than 100 percent load, one or more steam turbine engines (16), and one or more supplemental burners (18) providing additional heat to a heat recovery steam generator (20) upstream from the steam turbine engine (16) is disclosed. The combination of the steam turbine engines (16) and supplemental burners (18) operating together with gas turbine engines (14) at a part load condition enables the system to quickly change output to accommodate changes in output demand of the duct fired, combined cycle power generation plant (12). By operating the one or more gas turbine engines (14) at a part load condition, the gas turbine engines (14) are able to be used to increase net output of the combined cycle power generation plant (12) faster than relying on increasing output via duct firing.

  • Patent number: 9479612
Abstract: A method and a system are disclosed for the remote control of a viewer via a remote application. Communication between the control application and the viewer, installed on a remote computer, takes place via an agent. The agent exchanges data with the viewer via two communication channels, an RDP connection and an RVIC channel. In an embodiment, each image in a sequence of images to be displayed is identified by an identifier and assigned to a transmission indicator. The transmission indicator indicates how the image is to be transmitted (lossless or lossy). The agent then generates a modified dedicated sequence of images, which is transmitted to the viewer. The viewer is then able to check the reliability of the received modified sequence of images.

  • Publication number: 20150227121
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for controlling and/or regulating a technical system, in which actions to be carried out on the technical system are first of all determined using an action selection rule which was determined through the learning of a data-driven model and, in particular, a neural network. On the basis of these actions a numerical optimization searches for actions which are better than the original actions according to an optimization criterion. If such actions are found, the technical system is regulated or controlled on the basis of these new actions, such that the corresponding actions are applied to the technical system in succession. The method is suitable, in particular, for regulating or controlling a gas turbine, wherein the actions are preferably optimized with respect to the criterion of low pollutant emission or low combustion chamber humming.

  • Patent number: 9103919
Abstract: A method is disclosed for transmission of register contents of a CT detector with hierarchical hardware structure, wherein the first hierarchy level is formed by a control unit containing a register table for the read-out register contents of FPGAs lying lower down in the hierarchy and an intermediate register store for register contents to be written. With each new reading, the new register contents for FPGAs lying lower down in the hierarchy arriving during the respective preceding reading from the central control at the control unit are forwarded to the next hierarchy level. With each new reading, the register contents of all FPGAs lying lower down in the hierarchy are re-entered into the register table of the control unit. Finally, in the event of a readout command transferred asynchronously from the central control, the register contents are read out exclusively from the register table.
