Abstract: A revolution counter includes a single sensor which scans movement of a rotary element and generates a raw signal commensurate with a rotary position of the rotary element for ascertaining one of at least three areas of angular ranges. Two of these areas include each a single continuous angular range, whereas a third area includes at least two angular ranges, which interrelate but are separated from one another. A power generation system delivers energy pulses to the sensor, when the rotary element rotates below a minimum value, so that a raw signal can be detected and the corresponding angular range area can be determined. The power generation system and the rotary element are so interconnected as to ascertain for at least part of the thus determined areas of angular ranges, by which of the angular ranges the rotary element is rotated, and to establish the number of revolutions based on the ascertained angular ranges.
Abstract: A motion parameter of an at least partially conducting moving body is measured with a measuring device having at least one coil with a coil axis tangential to the motion direction of the moving body. A primary magnetic field induces electrical currents in the moving body that generate a motion-dependent measuring magnetic field which is measured by the measuring device. The tangential coil(s) has/have a greater distance from the moving body than the primary magnets.
Abstract: A revolution counter; includes a base body having a sensor arrangement and a power supply device which supplies energy to the sensor arrangement, and a rotary element connectable to a revolving member and rotating relative to the base body about a rotation axis. The rotary element includes a magnet arrangement, which so interacts with the power supply device that the sensor arrangement is supplied with energy during each revolution of the rotary element in at least three rotary positions of the rotary element regardless of a rotation speed of the rotary element to thereby allow the sensor arrangement to ascertain a rotary position of the rotary element. In order to prevent a transmission of mechanical forces from the rotary element to the base body, the rotary element is positioned with respect to the base body either without connection to the base body, or held by the base body at three-dimensional play.

Abstract: A 1-bit digital-analog converter has outputs, switching units and pulse shaping units, with outputs, switching unit and the pulse shaping units being decoupled from one another by decoupling units. In addition, a 1-bit digital-analog converter has one or two outputs, two inputs, a switching unit and pulse shaping units, with each input being produced in a pair, and for each switching unit a second switching unit is arranged such that each bit change of the input bit fundamentally forces a switching operation. In addition, in the case of the current circuit i, the current i is regulated to virtually or actually zero, while in the case of the voltage circuit the corresponding voltage difference is regulated to virtually or actually zero.

Abstract: The nozzle body (5) of a fuel injection valve has a central bore (54) in which a nozzle needle (1) is guided. The tip (52) of the nozzle body (5) has a tapered valve seat (55) which forms together with the sealing edge (27) of the nozzle needle (1) a valve (27, 55) which controls the flow of fuel to the injection holes (9) in the nozzle tip (52). Underneath the sealing edge (27) a circumferential groove (33) is disposed in the truncatoconical needle tip (30, 35, 40, 45) at the level of which the injection holes (9) are disposed, so that when the valve (27, 55) opens the nozzle needle (1) is axially stabilized and the shaping of the injected jet is improved.

Abstract: A medical tomography apparatus and method, a 3D dataset is generated in as picture elements arranged in a three-dimensional grid during the examination of a patient. Predefined surfaces are stored in a library and, dependent on the desired examination, one of the predefined surfaces can be selected with an input unit and thus the shape of an evaluation surface can be defined. Picture elements of the 3D dataset along the evaluation surface and used for constructing a two-dimensional image. A pre-defined surface is selected from the library and is employed for determining the shape of the evaluation surface. The method and the apparatus can be particularly employed in a simple way for the multi-planar reconstruction of a two-dimensional image along a multiply or arbitrarily curved surface.
Abstract: In a magnetic resonance tomography apparatus and a method for operating such an apparatus employing a “partially parallel acquisition” (PPA), the number of the k-rows to be determined in a readout cycle corresponds to the number of coils, so that exposure time for acquiring an MR image is shortened for a given image quality, or the image quality is enhanced for a given exposure time.
Abstract: In a method and system for learning the implementation of a measurement sequence for the operation of a medical-technical system, a web page is stored in an Internet server that can be downloaded with a computer connected to the Internet and viewed with a viewing device of the computer.
Abstract: As apparatus components, a computed tomography apparatus has at least a rotating X-ray generator and an operating unit, between which data can be exchanged wirelessly via a radio link on the basis of radio waves or microwaves. A rotating X-ray generator device of a computed tomography apparatus has a generator unit and a transmission and/or reception device allocated thereto for transmitting and/or receiving electromagnetic broadcast signals. This allows a wireless data transmission while avoiding wiper rings. The bluetooth standard or a GSM or UMTS standard can be employed as standards.

Abstract: The invention is directed to a system and a method for the configuration and/or parameterization of diagnostic devices for test objects. The system includes a first data object having a collection of technological test object parameters of the test object and its components, and a second data object having a collection of technological parameters of hardware components of the diagnostic device. The system further includes a first program object containing data sentences for the assignment of at least test object parameters and technological parameters of hardware components, and a second program object for processing the data sentences assigned in the first program object. Via the data and program objects, a knowledge base is created that results in a configuration mainly automatically controlled by the knowledge of the system and/or parameterization of the diagnostic device including the test structure and evaluation. In this manner, the cost of such preparations is significantly reduced.

Abstract: The data carrier card has a card base structure formed with a recess in which one or more chips are disposed. The recess can be closed by a cover that is connected to the card base structure via a flexible area. The cap can thereby be pivoted relative to the base body of the card, with the flexible area acting as a hinge. The flexible region and the cover may either be construed in one piece with the card base structure, or the flexible area may be part of a label.
