  • Patent number: 12188747
Abstract: An accessory for a firearm includes a deflector integrated into the accessory and structured to alter a path of discharge gasses and/or debris after such gasses and debris are emitted from the firearm when the firearm is discharged. The deflector may be sized and shaped to alter a path of discharge gasses and/or debris after such gasses and debris pass a Loaded Chamber Indicator (LCI) of the firearm. The LCI indicates a presence of a cartridge within a firing chamber of the firearm, but openings within and around the LCI also provide a path for hot gasses and debris to strike accessories, which causes fouling and other deterioration.

  • Publication number: 20240410668
Abstract: A suppressor baffle includes a cone portion expanding along a central axis from a proximal end defining a projectile opening to an open distal end having an outer rim. The projectile opening is in an entrance plane oriented obliquely to the central axis. A first volume between a first side of the cone portion and a central plane that includes the central axis is smaller than a second volume between an opposite second side of the cone portion and the central plane. At least part of the outer surface of the second side of the cone portion has a convex profile as viewed along the central plane from a side of the suppressor baffle. In another example, a first part of the cone is axially offset from an opposite second part of the cone, resulting in a curved projectile opening profile and a curved outer rim profile.

  • Patent number: 12152856
Abstract: A firearm stock includes a stock body slidably mounted on a beam. A lever attached to the stock body can be moved between a locked position, a first unlocked position, and a second unlocked position, where operating the lever moves a locking mechanism between locked and unlocked positions. For example, when the lever is in the first unlocked position, the locking mechanism permits longitudinal adjustment of the stock body along the beam. When the lever is in the second unlocked position the locking mechanism permits the stock body to be slidably removed from the beam. In one example, the lower portion of the stock body defines a plurality of cam pathways for pins that secure the lever to the stock body. Forward cam pathways permit either a pivoting movement about the rear pin or a downward and forward shifting movement.

  • Publication number: 20240310133
Abstract: A handgun trigger has a trigger body configured for pivotable or rotatable movement when installed in a handgun. A trigger shoe is removably attached or attachable to the trigger body and defines a user interface for firing the handgun. The trigger shoe can be made of polymeric material and can be attached to the trigger body using a snap fit. For example, the trigger shoe snaps over rear-facing surfaces of the trigger body when installed. Also disclosed is a takedown lever assembly for a semiautomatic handgun, where the takedown actuation lever operable between a firing position and a takedown position. In the takedown position the takedown actuation lever permits removal of the slide from the frame. In the takedown position the trigger is blocked from rotating to the pulled trigger position.

  • Publication number: 20240288242
Abstract: A suppressor baffle has a baffle body having an annular shape and extending axially along a central axis from a proximal end to a distal end. A tapered wall expands in size moving distally along the central axis. The tapered wall defines a projectile opening at a proximal end and connects at a distal end to the baffle body. Vanes on an outside of the tapered wall are arranged to provide a tightening torque in response to combustion gases flowing axially and colliding with the suppressor baffle. • Patent number: 12031796
Abstract: An electronic indicator on a see-through optical scope indicates whether an optical system is canted. The indicator may include illuminable visual indicators positioned on opposite sides of a field of view through the optical scope. The indicator may be visual, haptic, or aural. The visual indicator may include one or more LEDs positioned on the periphery of the field of view, and may be optically coupled to an appropriate position on the face of the reticle using a suitable waveguide. The LEDs are coupled to a microprocessor which is, in turn, coupled to a solid-state electronic inclinometer that is incorporated into the internal structure of the optical system. The microprocessor is configured to selectively illuminate one or more of the visual indicators based on the output of the inclinometer, thereby indicating how the reticle is canted, if at all.

  • Publication number: 20240191956
Abstract: A handgun grip module assembly includes a grip module with a handgrip portion, a slide portion, and a trigger guard extending between and connecting the handgrip portion to the slide portion. The slide portion extends longitudinally along a central axis and has opposed sidewalls and a bottom wall. The slide portion defines a bracket recess in the bottom wall and defines a receiver well between the opposed sidewalls and above the handgrip portion. A recoil bracket is movably disposed in the bracket recess. In some examples, the grip module can be made of a metal or a metal-infused polymer. During use, the recoil bracket can move in response to forces exerted on it during the firing cycle.

  • Patent number: 11997730
Abstract: A method of pairing a device and a single one of two or more potential pairing devices includes first setting the device in a seek mode and scanning for the potential pairing devices. A list is stored in the device that includes any potential pairing devices discovered while in the seek mode. The list is stored in a sequential order based on a signal strength between the device and each of the discovered potential pairing devices. Then the device determines whether any of the potential pairing devices in the list are set in a predetermined mode, and pairs with the one of the potential pairing devices in the predetermined mode that has the highest signal strength.
