Abstract: A key switch fabrication method including the steps of: i) molding a rubber pad from silicone resin, and making a rubber key stitch body from the rubber pad by stamping; ii) printing the desired letter or pattern on the top side (10) of the rubber key switch body (1) thus obtained, then drying the printed key switch body 1 by baking; iii) adhering a liquid silicone rubber on the key switch body over the printing thereof by spot glueing to form a transparent key cap; vi) heating the key switch thus obtained from step iii) in a baking oven at 60.degree. C. for 5 minutes and then heating it at 120.degree. C. for 10 minutes to harden the key cap; and v) examining the quality of the finished key pad.
Abstract: A lens assembly with adjustable focusing arrangement generally comprises a lens assembly which includes a supporting barrel having the lens unit disposed therein. The outer wall of the supporting barrel is slidably disposed with an adjusting knob. A barrel housing which is defined by a stationary housing and a movable housing is provided and the lens assembly, the supporting barrel and the adjusting knob are received within the barrel housing with its receiving chamber. Both sides of the barrel housing are provided with cutout for readily accessing to the adjusting knob. An aperture is provided at the front of the receiving chamber. The inner wall of the receiving chamber of the barrel housing is provided with a pair of guiding rails extending lengthwise which can be slidably engaged with the guiding grooves of the supporting barrel. The focus can be readily attained by rotating the adjusting knob. The barrel housing is provided with a locking screw to fix the focus attained.
Abstract: A touch control type cursor control device which includes a bottom shell covered with a cover frame to hold a circuit board, a digitizer mounted within the cover frame and connected to the circuit board, a left key switch and a right key switch mounted on the bottom shell and disposed at two opposite lateral sides relative to the digitizer and connected to the circuit board, a front left key switch and a front right key switch disposed in front of the digitizer and connected to the circuit board, and a connecting line extending from the circuit board for connection to the computer system.
Abstract: This invention relates to a method for coating a polyurethane on to a silicon rubber key board. The so constructed key board has excellent wearing-resistance. The user may enjoy an excellent feeling of contact. A silane primer is applied and cured before application of the polyurethane.
Abstract: A key switch includes a rubber key body mounted within a key switch hole on a key pad device above a circuit board thereof, and a key cap fastened to the rubber key body at the top and depressed to move the rubber key body downward in triggering a contact on the circuit board, wherein the key cap is made from a plastic convex lens having a convex top wall and a plain bottom wall, the plain bottom wall having a light-blocking area and a light-penetrable area, the light-penetrable area being shown in the form of a pattern; the rubber key body is molded from a vulcanized rubber sealed to the plain bottom wall of the key cap through a heat sealing process. Three layers of ink are disposed between the key body and the key cap.
