    Abstract: An LED module includes a first dielectric layer, and a first patterned conductive layer having first, second, and third die-bonding pads. Each die-bonding pad includes a pad body having a die-bonding area, and an extension extended from the pad body. The extension of the first die-bonding pad extends in proximity to the die-bonding area of the second die-bonding pad. The extension of the second die-bonding pad extends in proximity to the die-bonding area of the third die-bonding pad. A second dielectric layer disposed on the first patterned conductive layer includes three dielectric members corresponding respectively to the die-bonding pads of the first patterned conductive layer. Each dielectric member includes a chip-receiving hole exposing the die-bonding area of a respective die-bonding pad for attachment of an LED chip thereto, and a wire-passage hole spaced apart from the chip-receiving hole to expose partially the first patterned conductive layer for bonding a wire.

    Abstract: A display device is applied to a light sensing system. The display device includes a display module and a pattern layer. The pattern layer is made of optical material capable of either fully or partially reflecting or absorbing invisible light of specific wavelength emitted from the display module, and is formatted on the display module, thus defining gaps through which invisible light can pass. A light sensor is utilized to sense the pre-determined pattern defined by the invisible light passing through the pattern layer. Based on the light sensing result, the light sensor can recognize the corresponding pattern. The optical material of the pattern layer may be arranged to incorporate locational varying invisible light transmittance to define the pre-determined pattern at a finer degree, thus further increasing sensing accuracy.

When the locking mechanism is moved from the locking position to the released position, the contacting surface is abutted and lifted by the inclined surface, after the tenon has been completely disengaged from the engaging mechanism. The displacement of the contacting surface enables the battery unit to displace away from the inclined surface. The instant disclosure also includes an electronic device having the latch mechanism for a battery unit.

    Abstract: The instant disclosure provides a Power Factor Correction (PFC) boost converter including a PFC converter unit and a control unit and a frequency switching modulation method thereof. The control unit outputs a pulse width modulation (PWM) signal to the PFC converter unit for adjusting an electronic power output to a voltage converter. As the output load of the PFC converter unit increases, the control unit increases the frequency of the PWM signal. Conversely, as the output load of the PFC converter unit decreases, the control unit reduces the frequency of the PWM signal. Consequently, the switching loss of the PFC converter unit is reduced.
