    Abstract: A method and a system for transporting a flow of fluid hydrocarbons containing wax and/or asphaltenes or any other precipitating solids through a treatment and transportation system including a pipeline are disclosed. The flow of fluid hydrocarbons is introduced into a reactor (4), where it is mixed with another fluid flow having a temperature below a crystallization temperature for the wax and/or asphaltenes or other solids and containing particles or crystals acting as nucleating and/or growth cores for the wax and/or asphaltenes or other solids, the mixing temperature providing precipitation of the wax and/or asphaltenes or other solids from the flow of fluid hydrocarbons, and the effluent flow of hydrocarbons and particles is conveyed from the reactor (4) to a pipeline (6) for transportation.

    Abstract: Reversible vapor compression system including a compressor (1), an interior heat exchanger (2), an expansion device (6) and an exterior heat exchanger (3) connected by means of conduits in an operable relationship to form an integral main circuit. A first device is provided in the main circuit between the compressor and the interior heat exchanger, and a second device is provided on the opposite side of the main circuit between the interior and exterior heat exchangers to enable reversing of the system from cooling mode to heating mode and vice versa. The first and second device for reversing of the system include a first and second sub-circuit (A respectively B) each of which is connected with the main circuit through a flow reversing device (4 and 5 respectively). Included in the system solution is a reversible heat exchanger for refrigerant fluid, particularly carbon dioxide. It includes a number of interconnected sections arranged with air flow sequentially through the sections.

The heat exchanger (3) to be defrosted is subjected to essentially the same pressure as the compressor's (1) discharge pressure. Thus, the heat exchanger (3) is defrosted as the high-pressure discharge gas from the compressor (1) flows through to the heat exchanger, giving off heat to the heat exchanger (3). In the circuit, in connection with the expansion device (6) a first bypass loop 23 with a first valve (16?), is provided.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a multi-autoclave and details of its design, a method for automated synthesis of zeolites in the multi-autoclave, and furthermore, to applications of the multi-autoclave for an automated synthesis which is optimized simultaneously with regard to several synthesis parameters in the synthesis of zeolites. The multi-autoclave consists typically of a pressure vessel/autoclave having from 10 to 10,000 small, separated chambers lined with an inert material, with each chamber typically having a volume of 0.2-2 ml. The chambers preferably are formed as through-going perforations in a central block and the perforations are sealed by balls, septa, stoppers or such which are placed at the bottom and top of each through-going perforation. Metal plates are placed over and under the central block so that a closing mechanism is pressed against the edges of the perforations with sufficient load to enable the chambers to be filled with aqueous mixtures and to be heated to 200° C.

The effluent flow of hydrocarbons from the reactor is cooled in a heat exchanger to ensure that all water present therein is in the form of gas hydrates. The flow is then treated in a separator to be separated into a first flow and a second flow. The first flow has a content of gas hydrate and is recycled to the reactor to provide the particles of gas hydrates mentioned above. The second flow is conveyed to a pipeline to be transported to its destination.

    Abstract: A mixer for a fluid flow in a pipe connection, especially for homogenizing a multiphase flow, has a housing to be inserted in the pipe connection for the fluid to flow through. At an upstream side radial flow passages cause the fluid to converge into a central chamber. In the cooperating wall portions, a number of flow channels can be aligned or misaligned with one another and/or the inlet and outlet openings to regulate and control flow by movement of the regulating elements. The regulating elements also define a full cross-section opening at 90.degree. to the flow passages, which can clear the passage between the inlet and outlet for passage of a pipe pig.
