Abstract: A navigation apparatus includes a map data storage for storing a map data, a picture frame image storage for storing one or more images, a mode-based setting storage for storing mode-based settings required in operating the navigation apparatus in a drive guide mode, a picture frame mode or a combination mode, and a control unit for, based on the mode-based settings, providing a drive guide information using the map data in the drive guide mode, providing drive guide information by use of the map data in the drive guide mode, providing a picture frame image by using the images in the picture frame mode and providing the picture frame image and the drive guide information in the combination mode, the drive guide information being displayed over the picture frame image.

Abstract: A shopping-mall system utilizing user-based avatars comprises a terminal for transmitting user's three-dimensional image data through a wired or wireless communication network and then selecting any one of items provided through the wired or wireless communication network to receive an avatar image wearing the selected item and to transmit purchase specification information for purchasing the selected item. An avatar creation server receives the three-dimensional image data from the terminal and then creates an avatar image. A three-dimensional shopping-mall server puts any one item selected among a plurality of items stored therein on the avatar image created by the avatar creation server to provide the terminal with the avatar image wearing the item, and then performs an electronic commerce transaction with the terminal on the receipt of the purchase specification information of the selected item.

Abstract: A method for providing crossroad information using a navigation system mounted to a vehicle includes searching a map database to extract information on a driving route to a destination, extracting information on crossroads present in the driving route, and providing a drive guide image to a display panel, the driving guide image including a map of an area around a current position of the vehicle, a traveling direction in the driving route and a number of remaining crossroads, wherein the number of remaining crossroads decreases each time the vehicle passes through the remaining crossroads. The method further includes providing a turn symbol which indicates a target turning direction of the vehicle and representing the turn symbol at or around a road intersection of a turning point in the drive guide image, when the vehicle passes through a last remaining crossroad left before the turning point.

Abstract: A system and method provide mobile services of a fashion album directly created by a user. A digital album service system and method provide wireless mobile services, wherein figures of a user's avatar wearing a variety of fashion items are provided in the form of a moving picture to a user connected to an avatar image server through a wired communication network using a personal computer (PC). A relevant image is provided in the form of a still picture and/or a mobile flash to a specific mobile communication terminal selected by the user, thereby allowing the user to view or download the image without restriction of time and space.
