Abstract: Disclosed is an implantable device for drug delivery operated by a magnetic force. The device is provided with a body member and an external magnetic controller which is able to move some of the parts in the body member so that the drug inside the body member can be delivered to a site of interest of the animal body without the extra power source.
Abstract: A storage device is provided which includes a nonvolatile memory device configured to store a plurality of reference data, a memory configured to store a hash manage table used to manage a plurality of reference hash keys of each of the plurality of reference data, a hash key generator configured to generate a plurality of hash keys based on write requested data, and a memory controller configured to compare the plurality of hash keys and reference hash keys of each reference data to determine whether to store the write requested data in the nonvolatile memory device. The memory controller selects one of the plurality of reference data according to a similarity between the plurality of hash keys and the plurality of reference hash keys of each reference data and stores the write requested data and the selected reference data in the nonvolatile memory device to refer to each other.

Abstract: In the graphene manufacturing method, a graphite oxide is formed from graphite, and then the graphite oxide is treated with a hydrochloric acid. The hydrochloric acid-treated graphite oxide is reduced at temperature of 120° C. or above and 200° C. or below by performing thermal treatment thereto. Since a low-temperature process is used for manufacturing graphene by performing thermal treatment at a relatively low temperature for a short time, this method has great economic feasibility and utilization. Due to a simple composing process and low thermal treatment temperature, graphene may be mass-produced with a low price. In particular, the graphene may be used as a cathode material for a lithium secondary battery, which exhibits a high capacity at a high voltage of 2V or above by reacting with Li, different from an anode material of a lithium secondary battery.
Abstract: Provided is a scheduling method of a multi-user multi-input multi-output (MIMO) communication system. The scheduling method includes transmitting a channel state information request signal to a user equipment when data to be transmitted to the user equipment is received, and calculating, by the user equipment receiving the channel state information request signal, an effective channel gain of the user equipment, determining whether channel state information (CSI) is capable of being transmitted, and transmitting the CSI of the user equipment according to a result of the determining.
Abstract: Provided is a transducer. The transducer includes a permanent magnet that generates a magnetostatic field, a patch disposed below the permanent magnet and formed of a material that deforms according to a magnetic field, an insulator disposed on a top surface of the patch, and a coil wound around the patch and the insulator in a certain form and allowing a magnetomotive field to be induced on the patch according to an applied current. The wound coil has a form in which directions of the magnetostatic field generated by the permanent magnet and the magnetomotive field generated by winding the coil are orthogonal to each other.

Abstract: A method for selecting a Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) mode based on energy efficiency and selecting an antenna subset to be used in a communication, in a wireless communication system using a multi-user massive multi-antenna is provided. The method selects an antenna subset capable of minimizing transmission power without using all antennas, based on power consumed by an Radio Frequency (RF) circuit as well as the transmission power. The method further includes selecting a mobile station to which the signal is to be transmitted, selecting a multi-antenna technique based on power consumption of all antennas, selecting an antenna subset to transmit the signal to the mobile station among all the antennas, and transmitting the signal to the mobile station by using the antenna subset.
