Abstract: The invention concerns a device comprising: a packaging box for the flexible material part, dimensioned to hold said part flat; folding means for folding said part without direct handling; and a reception tube for receiving said folded flexible material part. The invention is characterized in that the folding means comprise; a traction suture connected to the flexible material part, which passes through the tube, and, walls forming a funnel whereof the base emerges proximate to the opening of the tube through which the flexible material part is designed to be inserted into said tube, said funnel being designed, when a traction is exerted on the traction suture, to gradually fold down the zones of the part located laterally relative to the tube towards the zone of the part located opposite the opening of said tube, to enable the part to be inserted into the tube.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a prosthetic open knit fabric (10) made as a single piece, based on an arrangement consisting of several sets of yarns of a biocompatible polymer material, comprising, continuously in the direction of production of the knit, a central strip (11) and two lateral strips (12), one on each side of the central strip, characterized in that it comprises one or more set(s) of pillar stitch yarns defining a pillar stitch pattern, the said one or more set(s) of pillar stitch yarns extending across the entire width of the central strip (11) and of the lateral strips (12) and together forming a first threading across the width of the central strip and a second threading across the width of the lateral strips, the said first and second threading being different, and at least two partial weft stitching sets. The present invention also relates to a method of producing such a knit fabric and to an implant for supporting prolapses obtained from such a knit fabric.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a composite prosthesis for reinforcement of a tissue structure, including a porous textile support which includes an arrangement of threads each composed of at least one filament of nonabsorbable polymer material, said textile support defining a microporous texture including the interstices located between at least two threads at the sites of contact of one thread with at least one other thread, wherein, in at least one protected zone of the textile support, a hydrophilic absorbable material coats the textile support, forming a film enveloping and penetrating into the arrangement of threads, occluding at least the microporous texture, but without forming a plane layer covering at least one face of the textile support. It also relates to a process for preparing such a composite reinforcement prosthesis.
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to implantable bioabsorbable medical devices having an amphiphilic coating for delaying the degradation of the device and methods of making such devices.
Abstract: Cross-linked fibers include first and second precursors, each possessing a core and at least one functional group known to have click reactivity when exposed to UV radiation. Mixtures of the first and second precursors are extruded to produce a filament and irradiated with UV light during the extrusion process.

Abstract: The invention concerns a device formed with several yarns (2) knitted together so as to constitute a cylindrical elongated knitted fabric, that is a knitted fabric wherein the yarns (2) forming the stitches intersect substantially at the radially inner zone of said knitted fabric. The invention also concerns a device for setting in place, in the corporeal duct to be treated, an occluding device (1), comprising a longitudinal tube designed to contain the occlusive device when the latter is inserted into the duct to be treated.

Abstract: Implants include a porous layer made from a composition including a compound wherein collagen is cross-linked to a glycosaminoglycan, the porous layer being optionally joined to a collagen film.
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method of forming fibers. First and second precursors, each possessing a core and at least one functional group known to have click reactivity, are mixed in a hopper. The mixed precursors are then extruded through an extrusion die to crosslink and produce a filament. Polymerization of the first and second precursors is catalyzed by transition metal ions.
