Abstract: A device may receive information identifying results of a spectroscopic measurement performed on an unknown sample. The device may determine a decision boundary for a quantification model based on a configurable parameter, such that a first plurality of training set samples of the quantification model is within the decision boundary and a second plurality of training set samples of the quantification model is not within the decision boundary. The device may determine a distance metric for the spectroscopic measurement performed on the unknown sample relative to the decision boundary. The device may determine a plurality of distance metrics for the second plurality of training set samples of the quantification model relative to the decision boundary. The device may provide information indicating whether the spectroscopic measurement performed on the unknown sample corresponds to the quantification model.
Abstract: A robust predictive model. A plurality of different predictive models for a target feature are run, and a comparative analysis provided for each predictive model that meet minimum performance criteria for the target feature. One of the predictive models is selected, either manually or automatically, based on predefined criteria. For semi-automatic selection, a static or dynamic survey is generated for obtaining user preferences for parameters associated with the target feature. The survey results will be used to generate a model that illustrates parameter trade-offs, which will be used to finalize the optimal predictive model for the user.

The inner diameter can be designed to provide different impedances in the ceramic resonator.
Abstract: A display device (1) includes a receiving section (11), a generating section (12), and a display section (40). The receiving section (11) receives an arrangement setting that is a setting by which a page image P is arranged in formation of the page image P on a sheet. The generating section (12) generates based on the arrangement setting a preview image (AP) in which an identification image D identifying the page image P is disposed. The display section (40) displays the preview image (AP). A location of the identification image D in the preview image (AP) indicates a location of the page image P when the page image P is formed on the sheet. The identification image D has a data size smaller than a data size of the page image P.

Abstract: A system includes a computing platform communicatively coupled to multiple network nodes, the computing platform having processing hardware and a memory storing a software code. The processing hardware is configured to execute the software code to detect multiple anomalous performance indicators originating from one or more of the network nodes, determine, using the anomalous performance indicators in an automated process, the occurrence of an incident, and determine the signature of the incident. The processing hardware is further configured to execute the software code to compare the signature to one or more entries in an incident signature database, perform, when the comparison determines that the signature corresponds to one or more of the entries, a root cause analysis of the incident using the corresponding one or more entries, and generate an incident alert including one or both of a result of the root cause analysis and a description of the incident.

Abstract: Apparatus and methods for retraining digital pre-distortion are disclosed. In certain embodiments, a mobile device includes a transmit chain and a front end system. The transmit chain generates a transmit signal and converts the transmit signal to a radio frequency input signal, and includes a digital pre-distortion circuit that provides digital pre-distortion to the transmit signal. The front end system includes a power amplifier that amplifies the radio frequency input signal to generate a radio frequency output signal, and a power detector that generates a detection signal based on detecting an output power of the power amplifier. The detection signal controls initiation of a retraining sequence of the digital pre-distortion circuit.
Abstract: The disclosure relates to methods and systems for the analysis of compounds in a crystalline state and/or undergoing crystallization. Two-dimensional correlation (2DCOS) and co-distribution analysis (2DCDS) analysis plots can be generated and analyzed. Asynchronous plots can aid in establishing a sequential order of events. Positive cross peaks that correlate with auto peaks associated with aggregation can be identified. The auto peaks can be referenced to quickly discern the regions of the molecule most perturbed, which would indicate a driver for the crystallization state of the molecule. One can define which functional group types (e.g., region) are most perturbed (positive, intense auto peak) and observe how the different auto peaks begin to have greatest intensity change. These changes in auto peaks in the synchronous plots for the different stages of crystallization can provide information as to the dynamics of the process from amorphous to crystalline state.
